Sea Ray Boats company history timeline

1959

When young C.N. “Connie” Ray founded Sea Ray Boats in 1959, he began a tradition of innovation and advanced design that would eventually redefine the face of the yachting industry.

1975

Sea Ray’s design team, meanwhile, was hard at work, and in 1975, they quietly introduced the SRV 240 Sundancer, redesigning the face of American yachting with their innovative design.

1997

Sea Ray of Cincinnati built a new facility at the the Four Seasons Marina in 1997.

2003

In 2003 Flerlage Marine renamed its stores Sea Ray of Cincinnati and Sea Ray of Louisville.

2018

June 26, 2018, Brunswick released that for the benefit of the overall company and Sea Ray, they will not sell the Sea Ray brand and focus their efforts on building the best sport boats and cruisers up to 40 feet.
