Seagate Technology CEO and leadership

Dave Mosley was appointed CEO of Seagate and to Seagate’s Board of Directors in 2017. Prior to his current role, Dr. Mosley was President and COO of Seagate, responsible for Seagate’s Global Operations, Research and Development, Supply Chain / Procurement and Logistics, IT, Sales and Marketing. Dr. Mosley has held a variety of posts at Seagate during his 20+ year tenure, including President Operations and Technology, Executive Vice President Global Sales and Marketing, as well as many R&D leadership roles. Dave Mosley brings broad-based executive-level experience and in-depth understanding of the various aspects of Seagate's business, as well as valuable global operational, technological, research and development, and sales and marketing expertise. Dr. Mosley earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Davis focusing on solid state physics.

Gianluca Romano is an Exec VP/CFO at Seagate and is based in Cupertino, California. He has experience at Numonyx BV and STMicroelectronics and has worked as VP:Business Finance & Acctg at MICRON TECHNOLOGY INC. Gianluca attended University of Urbino - Italy.

With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Ravi Naik has successfully led large transformative initiatives, leveraging ideas and technology platforms focused on future growth and opening new business models and markets. Prior to joining Seagate in 2017, Ravi was the senior vice president of technology at Katerra, a technology startup revolutionizing the construction industry by transforming the way buildings and spaces come to life. Before Katerra, in 2007 Ravi joined SanDisk to lead an enterprise-wide transformation initiative. Following the success of the SanDisk transformation, he was appointed as CIO, remaining with the organization through its sale to Western Digital in 2016. Before that, he held leadership positions at Mercury Interactive, Hewlett Packard, and 3Com Corporation. Naik holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bombay in India.
