Overview: The Lead Spa Attendant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the spa's attendant team to ensure an exceptional, luxurious guest experience. Responsibilities: • Welcome guests warmly and anticipate their needs to ensure a seamless and personalized spa journey. • Escort guests throughout the spa, ensuring they are comfortable, informed, and well cared for. • Maintain pristine locker rooms, relaxation lounge, wet areas, and amenities throughout the day. • Respond promptly to guest requests, preferences, and concerns, escalating to management when needed. • Ensure all amenities, towels, refreshments, and supplies are fully stocked and beautifully presented. • Serve as the primary contact and supervisor for spa attendants during assigned shifts. • Assist the Spa Management team in maintaining daily operational standards, facility cleanliness, safety, and ambiance. • Monitor workload and adjust attendant assignments to ensure efficient and balanced coverage. • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office to resolve operational needs. • Help manage locker assignments, inventory controls, and amenity orders. • Lead by example, demonstrating luxury service standards, grooming, and professionalism. • Train new spa attendants on protocols, guest experience guidelines, safety procedures, and product knowledge. • Assist in daily shift briefings and communicate all updates, service notes, and operational priorities. • Ensure all health, hygiene, and safety standards are upheld, including proper sanitation of wet areas, lockers, and relaxation spaces. • Confirm that spa equipment, steam/sauna rooms, and public areas are functioning properly; report issues immediately. • Support adherence to OSHA, local regulations, and property-specific safety protocols. • Assist with inventory tracking, ordering, and monthly counts. • Update checklists, SOPs, and attendant guides as needed. • Support special events, VIP arrangements, and seasonal promotions. • Perform other tasks as assigned to ensure smooth spa operations. Taking care to treat each resident with respect and understanding. • Update and review daily logbook, responsible for including any notes that were observed during present shift regarding a resident's condition which may be helpful to personnel on alternating shifts. • Maintain tidiness of bed daily and change bed linens for residents under your care weekly and/or whenever the bed is soiled. • Provide beverages, (I.e. fresh ice water) to residents under your care on both first and second shifts, or pick up pitchers if on the third shift. • Help residents with showers, when necessary or requested. Notify Nurse or Administrator of residents who refuse to shower. • Keep cognizant of all emergency evacuation procedures and fire regulations. • Work with the nurse to ensure that the treatments as prescribed by the attending physicians are being followed for each resident. Take vital signs monthly and as needed. • Ensure that all residents are present during a meal and assist those who need help cutting meat, etc. • Assist new admissions with unpacking and labeling their clothes. Be available to help new residents find their way to the dining room, activity room, etc. • When a resident receives clothes at any time, notify the laundry worker to make sure that all clothes are labeled. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Requires knowledge of aging, geriatrics, and mental illnesses. • Must possess tact, patience, and the ability to maintain effective relationships with residents, their families, the public, and other employees. • Must have excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills. Essential Job Functions: Job duties include, although are not limited to: Ensure cart staging area is free and clean of debris Ensure the front drive of the clubhouse is free and clean of debris Maintain and keep the practice facilities appropriately stocked, at all times Load member bags onto golf carts or push carts Carry members clubs for them Valet Park vehicles Maintain the golf cart fleet and stage them neat and clean each day Clean and store members clubs properly Maintain a clean bag room free of debris and clutter Clean and stock comfort stations each morning Prepare golf carts for each shift with the appropriate amenities (i.e. bug spray, pencils, scorecard, hole location sheet, towels, tees, etc.) Greet all members and guests at the club with a warm welcome (Remember the Golf Services Attendant is our first impression) Communicate any carts that are not working properly to Golf Maintenance Interface with Caddie Master to assure we have caddies when needed Set up golf carts for tournaments Continual communication with the Golf Professional Staff about the tee sheet to ensure accurate billing to members and guests Responsible for the communication to the Golf Professional Staff throughout the day Assist Head Golf Professional and First Assistant in keeping par levels of golf supplies. Other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional and/or First Assistant Golf Professional. Qualifications: Must be engaging and outgoing Experience at high-end resort or private club operations preferred Must be willing to learn operations Must be able to multi-task Highly ethical Extremely versatile individual Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English Physical Demands: Most work tasks are performed outdoors. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments of the Club on a timely basis. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line touch tone phone, filing cabinets, photocopiers, dolly and other office equipment as needed. Job Summary: The Outside Golf Attendants are responsible for the overall look and feel of the outside operation to include first impression.
