Reporting to the Parking Manager, the Shuttle Bus Driver transports students, faculty, staff, and visitors between the South Campus Park and Ride lots and the Main Campus. Ensure adherence to passenger limits, both seated and standing. Avoid high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible. Record and report all major accidents and incidents to your supervisor. Check that passengers disembark at the correct destinations, and in a timely manner. Ensure that the shuttle bus is fueled, well-maintained, and presentable at all times. Observe all relevant traffic and safety laws. Attend all department and staff meetings as required. Requirements Competencies California Driver's License B with safe driving record. Must pass all requirements set forth by applicable transportation and State agencies and be able to provide proper documentation. Previous experience driving groups of people. Outstanding knowledge of applicable transport and safety codes. First Aid training is preferred. Working knowledge of pertinent car maintenance and restoration techniques. Ability to work Monday through Saturday, with a varied schedule weekly.
