Verifies material in warehouse is OK or approved to use before pulling it from skids. Records inventory transactions using the Bar Code Inventory system. Performs routine inspection and refueling on powered industrial trucks such as charging batteries or replacing liquefied-gas tank. Apply principles of 5S to assigned areas so everything is organized, clean, and safe. Follow all company rules and regulations related to environmental, health, and safety. Education and/or Experience General knowledge of material handling, inventory, and quality control practices such as FIFO and lot traceability. Skilled at driving powered industrial trucks by moving levers and pressing pedals. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Read, write, and verbally communicate in English to convey information effectively so others will understand. A minimum of 1 year driving a fork-lift truck is desired. Must be able to become forklift certified within our environment. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safety, health, and environment protection practices within the workplace. Able to consistently meet job attendance requirements.
