Responsible for handling merchandise in a safe and efficient manner. Unload products from delivery truck and place product as the customer desires. Provide efficient, accurate and productive service to the customer. Perform backhauls, airport pickups, etc. as needed. Ensure all necessary delivery paperwork is completed accurately and in full. Complete credit/debit documentation accurately. Return all shipping documents, return product and credit documentation to designated area on completion of deliveries. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to manager. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company-customer relationship as it applies to the scope of the job function. Address and/or communicate customer issues and requests promptly to the appropriate individuals to facilitate resolution. Represent the company positively in all customer interactions. Quality and Compliance: Performs all required safety checks (i.e. pre/post trip) to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
