Digs trenches to remove defective pipes and to install new pipes, and mains; yarns and pours, and caulks joint; loads and unloads pipes and fittings obtains, safeguards, and property uses needed equipment, tools, materials and supplies.
Excavates and backfills trenches and culverts, installs, repairs, and replaces water and sewer mains, joins and caulks pipeline, repairs valves and hydrants, drills and installs taps in mains, and performs related street repairs, working from land plats, maps, and other diagrams.
Conduct grounds keeping and landscaping functions including brush cutting, grubbing and trash / debris removal from work areas. Able to manipulate commercial grade lawn mowers and various landscaping tools. Operation of snowplowing equipment. Chain saw operation, fence repairs, and when directed collect and deliver system samples as needed.
Must participate in emergency stand-by rotation and must respond to the yard within forty-five minutes of notification, excluding Water Treatment Plant.
Performs similar or less skilled work as assigned.
Assists employees of a higher classification as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Job Description
Compensation: $18.50/hour
Shift Time(s): 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM
NYC Delivery LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for smart, motivated, and hardworking professionals to fill walker positions! If you enjoy being outside, solving puzzles and meeting challenges head on, this is for YOU.
We have immediate openings and are making on-the-spot offers (all job offers contingent on meeting eligibility requirements)! Previous courier experience is a BIG PLUS. Must have a valid Driver's License or State ID.

What You'll Do as a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier
As a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier you'll stay active, work independently, and be part of a motivated team that safely delivers Amazon packages to customers in your community.
Work 3-5 days per week and up to 7 hours per day with shifts available seven days a week.
Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
Stay active delivering 150 or more packages ranging from envelopes to boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
What You'll Need as a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier
Must be at 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must have a valid state ID within the state of employment.
