The Merchandise Processor is a very demanding position that requires the continuous lifting of up to 25 pounds. It requires steady, fast-paced work and focuses on the correct picking/packing of many items. Associates stand and walk for the duration of the shift. Selecting the correct product and the number of products to fulfill store needs is the focus of this position. The ability to match, count and verify products are needed skills. Attention to detail, basic counting, and reasoning skills are necessary.
The Merchandise Handler is responsible for handling full cases of product. The position includes the consistent lifting of cartons and merchandise. Merchandise Handlers may also receive the product into the distribution center, maintain case quantities for picking operations, and help palletize outbound products. This is a strenuous job that requires continuous lifting of up to 50 pounds.
A Shipping Associate / Outbound Loader is responsible for consistent loading of outbound merchandise, promotional store sets, and store supplies onto semi-trailers. Lift, stack, and load merchandise cartons onto and off conveyor lines, semi-trailers, pallets, etc. Loads cartons of up to 75 pounds 100% of working hours. Maintain and verify documentation and information to facilitate the flow of merchandise being loaded on and off the semi-trailer.
An Equipment Operator / High Lift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of power equipment including forklifts, standup forklifts, order or cherry pickers, or cranes. Equipment Operators move cartons, pallets, or other containers of the product within the distribution center. The position requires continuous standing, repetitive motion, lifting of up to 50 pounds and the associate may operate equipment at heights of 30 feet or more. This position requires steady, fast-paced, and accurate work and requires a motor vehicle record check. Attention to detail, basic counting, and reasoning skills are necessary.
