Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
· Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
· Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.

· Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
· Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
· Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

Boater's World Marine Centers is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Boat Delivery Captain to join our team at our Lake Placid, FL dealership. This position plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences by delivering boats, providing hands-on instruction, and conducting water demonstrations. The ideal candidate will have strong seamanship skills, a passion for boating, and excellent customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Education & Delivery:
Conduct comprehensive delivery orientation sessions to familiarize customers with their new or used boats, motors, and accessories.
Demonstrate boat features, handling, and safety procedures both in the showroom and on the water.
Address customer questions and ensure they feel confident operating and maintaining their vessel.
Introducing customers to Service and Parts Departments for future needs.
Boat Transport & Inspections:
Deliver boats to customers, dealerships, and off-site locations as needed.
Perform Pre- and Post-Delivery Inspections and complete Sea Trial Reports.
Assist with launching, mooring, and loading boats at docks and ramps.
Maintenance & Operations Support:
Conduct minor preventative maintenance on company-owned display boats, such as cleaning, checking systems, and applying protective coatings.
Assist customers with minor service issues, troubleshooting for operator error or product defects.
Help move and position boats in and out of the showroom and on the lot.
Sales & Events Assistance:
Support the sales team by demonstrating boats and explaining additional boating merchandise, including aftermarket electronics and navigation equipment.
Participate in boat show and off-site event organization, sales, and teardown.
Conduct periodic boating safety and handling training sessions for customers and staff.
Other duties as assigned to support dealership operations and enhance customer experiences.
Requirements:
Advanced seamanship skills with experience operating a variety of boats, including inboards, outboards, and jets.
Previous experience in boat deliveries, marine operations, or a similar role preferred.
USCG Captain's License preferred with commensurate experience required.
Strong understanding of boat handling, navigation, docking procedures, and marine safety.
Ability to lift, move, and secure boat accessories and marine equipment as needed.
Excellent customer service and communication skills with a passion for boating.
Comfortable working in various weather conditions and assisting with physical tasks.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to tow boats on trailers.
Schedule:
Days Off: Sundays and one weekday.
Mandatory Workdays: Saturdays.
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM EST.
