The Lab Section Leader contributes to the overall patient care services by overseeing the technical operational aspects of one or more laboratory sections. He/She will be responsible for taking the lead role in the assuring for a smooth operation and positive work environment by creating and fostering healthy team relationships. Ensure all non-medical equipment, including vehicles, ASIOE, material handling equipment, heating and air conditioning equipment, dolly sets, power generation, and environmental control units are serviced, maintained and repaired in a timely manner; and that associated maintenance reports are completed in accordance with PWS, CMDP and associated regulations. Monitor Preventive Maintenance Checks & Services (PMCS), AOAP, fuel logs, equipment services, ensure maintenance records are accurately entered in GCSS-Army, Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) or other required databases.

4. Reviews production schedules, material, and manpower resources.
5. Reviews and compiles operations records, such as floor inspection reports and tool, equipment and supply usage, and safety reports.
6. Troubleshoots, orders parts, and repairs difficult mechanical problems.
7. Ability to perform general automotive maintenance and repair tasks.
8. May require specific certifications, depending on job assignment.
