Job Description Position is for a supervisor for the US/UK Logistics section. The candidate will work from the 520 Gaither Road, Rockville, MD location. Responsibilities include managing all phases of software development, including requirements definition, design, code, test, implementation, and documentation. * Lead and mentor a highly-technical team of 10 to 15 motivated ISSOs and System Administrators working on mission IT and cybersecurity tasks. Services include the design, implementation and support of clients, servers, InfoSec, storage, and network for facilities supporting several hundred systems and several thousand users in SCIFs and SAPs. Services are delivered using service management, and project management best practices.
* Engage regularly with mission area leadership (program and project managers) to ensure section staff are aligned on mission priorities and to communicate progress.
* Work closely with the Group Supervisor and Program/Project Managers to ensure proper staffing of tasks and to resolve staff/resource/facility conflicts.
* Recruit, develop, and oversee a diverse and highly skilled workforce with expertise in the core technical areas of the Group. Define expectations, coach performance, and provide professional development. Identify and develop key talent.
* Assist the Group Supervisor in shaping group policy and developing an execution plan for the group mission. Identify training needed to build and sustain the technical capabilities of the section. Ensure cybersecurity and engineering "best practices" are followed, and maintain a high quality of work.

As a Systems Administrator/Engineer...

* System Management. Create, modify and delete accounts. Implement and enforce restrictions on controlled interfaces such as USB, CD/DVD drives and printers. Conduct periodic audits of inactive accounts and ports/protocols/services. Install patches, review system logs, and resolve hardware/software issues.
* Storage Management. Implement data-at-rest encryption in accordance with FIPS 140-2 requirements. Establish and maintain file sharing and technologies such as CFS, NFS, iSCSI LUNs and storage spaces.
* Backups/Availability. Manage RAID configurations, backup strategy and software, Active Directory and LDAP.
* Networking/Infrastructure. Manage small networks including switches, routers and COMSEC devices. Implement port security configurations and VLANs.

* Create and Maintain Documentation. Completing and updating documentation such as security CONOPS, Security Controls Traceability Matrix's, System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, Contingency Plans. Track and maintain user agreements and training. Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

* System Development Support. Work with ISSEs, ISSMs and Program Managers to develop secure IT solutions in the classified environment. Capture and refine information security requirements and work with the ISSM to ensure that the requirements are effectively integrated into information systems. Work with the ISSM and PM on procurement and research on software/hardware products to ensure Supply Chain Risk Management compliance.

* Continuous Monitoring. Conduct system audits and analyze results for reporting. Monitor systems for compliance and vulnerabilities. In this role, you will facilitate the fabrication and technology development of printed circuit boards, flex substrates, and rigid flex, used to solve ambitious problems, whose solutions have an important bearing on national security, military readiness, space exploration, national health, and the advancement of fundamental science or engineering. You will provide technical leadership and professional development for a team of professional and technical support staff. You will collaborate with other Section Supervisors to build and sustain a culture of technical excellence and innovation. The Section Supervisor will lead and perform PCB fabrication functions in a low-volume, high mix environment to meet wide-ranging requirements from quick turn prototypes to space-flight certified electronics. Approximately 20% of the role is leadership and oversight of the section, and 80% consists of direct contributions as an experienced PCB fabrication engineer alongside your staff.

As a Fabrication Professional, you will:

* Provide technical direction for approximately 8 staff, working closely with the Group's Chief Engineer to ensure Section's long term vision aligns with the Lab's foreseen Technology Roadmap. Help identify capital equipment and develop staff to maintain technical excellence.
* Complete hands-on fabrication work including, but not limited to, use of CAM software, various plating processes, lamination, chemical etching, soldermask and silkscreen application, via fill, operation of CNC drilling/routing equipment, and laser via processing.
* Ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained in operational working order. Complete maintenance as able, guide others on maintenance, work with equipment suppliers on troubleshooting and maintenance, work with internal Lab facilities management, engineers, and support to maintain operations.
* Ensure the highest standards of technical excellence and quality are met on every project. Participate in key technical efforts; identify emerging opportunities and challenges; review and supervise technical tasks; ensure that staff members are applying best-practices to supported programs, including quality management practices and timely completion of deliverables.

As a Section Supervisor, you will:

* Section Supervisor is responsible for developing and controlling fabrication schedules and cost estimates, serving as the primary interface to internal customers.

Develop and maintain a vision and strategy for the Section, consistent with the Group, Department, and Lab Program Area strategies and objectives. Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the Laboratory, and with external sponsors.

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you…

* Hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing engineering, or similar scientific or engineering discipline with 5 years of relevant professional experience in printed circuit board processing, equipment, and chemistries.
* Experience with military specifications for rigid and rigid-flex circuits, IPC 6012, and IPC 6013 standards is required.
* Proven ability to establish relationships and effectively interact with all levels of staff and management, as well as with internal and external customers.
* Possess skills in organizational leadership and planning. Ability to effectively lead a team of technical staff in solving complex problems.

About the Role

The Production Supervisor will be the most recent hire in our new Dry Ice Manufacturing Facility and report to the Plant Manager. The team is responsible for overseeing the processes for making and shipping dry ice. Coordinate with Warehouse personnel and Fiber Analyst team to assure accurate inventory and efficient scheduling of FTTP workflow. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE: Previous FTTP Team Lead experience is mandatory. Supervisor is expected to have a full working knowledge of all three wings of FTTP Construction within 60 days of promotion.
