The Lead Security Professional is responsible for creation and administration of security plans and operations of the Saab, Inc Grayling campus and assisting in the development of organizational policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Risk Mitigation: Analyze and assess complex security risks and associated policies. Develop strategies for reducing vulnerabilities and enhancing security protocols across all areas of the organization.
Policy Development & Compliance: Create and update security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, federal regulations, and internal company guidelines. Perform self-inspections and participate in government Continuous Monitoring reviews and on-site inspections. Advise leadership on security risks and provide strategies for mitigation. Develop, coordinate and implement security education, training and awareness programs.
Investigations: Lead and conduct internal investigations on security incidents, in line with legal and sponsor requirements. Provide recommendations for corrective actions based on findings. Maintain accurate records of incidents and investigations in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration with Authorities: Coordinate with local police, fire departments, emergency responders, and other security agencies as necessary to address and resolve security-related issues.
Security Clearance and Policy Coordination: For organizations with government contracts, maintain DoD program compliance as it pertains to responsibilities, requirements and obligations associated with holding a Facility Clearance (FCL), to include but not limited to secure area oversight, personnel clearance program, and classified contract management.
Compensation Range: $99,100- $128,800

Kirtland Community College is accepting applications for a Part-Time Public Safety Officer at our Grayling campus. Individuals in this position perform various police duties to provide campus security, investigate complaints, respond to emergencies, and assist with training exercises in the college's criminal justice programs.
All Public Safety Officers must be current and certified through the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES)
Duties
* Performs various campus police duties as needed; responds to complaints, conducts investigations, and may issue citations in accordance with law and board policy
* Prepares detailed, timely, and informative reports of complaints, investigations, and incidents.
* Assists in planning and training for, and responds to medical and other emergencies that occur on Kirtland's campus sites; may be required to work in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies
* Assists in monitoring the status of campus security concerns and security equipment; reports maintenance, upgrade, and acquisition needs to the public safety director.
* Assists with criminal justice program training exercises and may assist in developing and presenting staff training programs such as sexual assault prevention, pepper spray training, dealing with violent individuals, etc. through Kirtland's public safety office

Qualifications
* Associate degree with Michigan First Responder or related training
* One to three years of related work experience, or a combination of education and experience commensurate with the requirements of the position
* Eligible for MCOLES Certification as a law enforcement officer, with a valid Michigan Driver's License

The role of Security Officers at all Munson Healthcare facilities is to ensure a safe and secure environment for all patients, visitors, employees, and providers. Security Officers provide a security presence throughout the facility to maintain order, monitor activity to identify and report potential risks, prevent accidents and/or injuries and to deter harmful activity such as theft, vandalism, and violence. Security Officers contribute to maintaining a positive environment through consistent high quality customer service.
Meets, greets and assists patients and their families as needed. Understands and demonstrates key strategies for effective customer service.
Performs escorts for employees and visitors. Establishes positive rapport with all staff, particularly ED staff, to promote team environment. Monitors visitor traffic into the ED.
Monitor's visitor entrance, waiting areas, main entrance, and ambulance entrance through frequent rounding. Patrols designated areas in and around the campus, including visual and physical checks of buildings located on or near the premises. Patrols all parking lots and enforces parking regulations outlined in the parking policy.
Investigates and prepares clear, concise, and thorough incident reports. Reports any unsafe situation or equipment according to Hospital procedure.
Demonstrates competency in monitoring of security systems including access control, security cameras and fire alarm systems. Responds to facility security issues and works to mitigate associated risks. Responds to all emergency codes. Responds to emergency pages.
Utilizes strategies to prevent or respond to workplace violence situations. Identifies opportunities to de-escalate and promote positive outcomes. Identifies potentially violent individuals (patients, visitors etc.) and assists with diverting negative behaviors. Responds to violent situations (“Security Alert - Gray Team”) and takes lead from the clinical staff.
Security is to take lead from clinical staff if they are requested for an observation in ED due to the fact that, when a patient is in observation, the possibility of physically acting out exists, danger to self or others, or presents an elopement risk. Security is to take lead from clinical staff with applying the least restrictive restraint to control combative patients.
Demonstrates competency in the following:
High level of awareness of the potential for terrorist activities.
Lock-down procedures and operation of the automated locking system.
Traffic control and crowd control for mass casualty influx.
Decontamination procedures including set up of decontamination zones.

Monitor's visitor entrance, waiting areas, main entrance, and ambulance entrance through frequent rounding. Patrols designated areas in and around the campus, including visual and physical checks of buildings located on or near the premises. Patrols all parking lots and enforces parking regulations outlined in the parking policy.
Investigates and prepares clear, concise, and thorough incident reports. Reports any unsafe situation or equipment according to Hospital procedure.
Demonstrates competency in monitoring of security systems including access control, security cameras and fire alarm systems. Responds to facility security issues and works to mitigate associated risks. Responds to all emergency codes. Responds to emergency pages.
Utilizes strategies to prevent or respond to workplace violence situations. Identifies opportunities to de-escalate and promote positive outcomes. Identifies potentially violent individuals (patients, visitors etc.) and assists with diverting negative behaviors. Responds to violent situations (“Security Alert - Gray Team”) and takes lead from the clinical staff.
Security is to take lead from clinical staff if they are requested for an observation in ED due to the fact that, when a patient is in observation, the possibility of physically acting out exists, danger to self or others, or presents an elopement risk. Security is to take lead from clinical staff with applying the least restrictive restraint to control combative patients.
