The Public Safety Officer I is responsible for the safety of University students, staff and faculty members, visitors, and the campus and property of the University. Rate: $30.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM Duties & Responsibilities: Be a Cardinal Point Ambassador: Be on time. Look sharp in proper uniform. Be engaged. Must be willing to obtain Act 168, Child Abuse, PA State Criminal History and PDE FBI Clearances as required by the Child Protective Services Law and PA School Code. CPR Certification No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude. Reliable means of communication (active cell phone with mobile email access). Ability to comprehend and utilize the English Language (verbal and written). Reliable means of transportation. Must possess a customer focused, professional, and courteous demeanor. Clean driving record with no at fault accidents for last 10 years. Preferred Qualifications: School security experience and Act 67 Certification. First Aid Certification.
