As an Armed School Security Guard with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Guard at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.

Critical Roles of the Position:
Conducting Regular Patrols of the School Campus: Routinely monitor the entire school campus, including hallways, classrooms, and outdoor areas, to maintain a visible security presence and deter potential threats.
Expertly De-escalating High-Stress Situations: Use effective communication and conflict resolution skills to calmly de-escalate tense or volatile situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all parties involved.
Maintaining Constant Situational Awareness: Remain alert and attentive to the surrounding environment at all times, quickly identifying any unusual activities or potential risks.

Pay: This pay range is $29.00 - $31.00 hourly, based on experience. This is a W2 position. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Colorado is an at-will employment stat.

Nature of work
This position is responsible for property security and the protection and safeguarding of guests and employees. Hours for this position fluctuate depending upon arena event schedule, so the ability to work flexible hours is mandatory.
Examples of work performed
Responsible for facility security: Access Control, CCTV monitoring, patrolling of KSE properties to include parking lots, traffic control, incident response, safety and emergency procedure response.
Patrols Ball Arena Campus, Paramount Theatre and KSE Imprints; reports all safety and/or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
Provides access control for the facility through post requirements and building access control system.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

Educational/Experience/Training Requirements:
This position requires candidates to already possess an Active “L” or “Secret” Security clearance.
Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to successfully complete an extensive pre-employment medical evaluation that includes a strenuous physical agility test
Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment psychological evaluation initially and every 5 years.
Must be able to successfully complete an extensive training program including non-lethal weapons and weapons qualified initially and semi-annually
Must be able to successfully pass initial and annual ½ mile physical fitness run test and a 40-yard dash test
Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability read and follow written directives including standard operating procedures, safety practices, policies and procedures
Must be able to work long shift hours, both day and night shifts, holidays and weekends
Must be a citizen of the United States
Must be 21 years of age or older
Preferred Requirements:
Strongly prefer candidates with prior military or police experience
Need to share our “safety first” commitment.
Need to have the ability to receive communications in an emergency situation 24/7.
Should have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
