We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Engineer to lead battery pack assembly information systems implementation, integration, and troubleshooting across production operations. What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the information systems implementation process for Battery Pack Assembly in collaboration with site and global teams, focusing on network infrastructure, hardware interfacing, data collection, and server communication scripting.
Modify information system specifications for vendor design, fabrication, and installation.
Manage communication and coordination with Information Systems / One-Tech, EDC, MDT, and various production working groups.
Integrate information systems across production lines and processes, including Line Control, Battery Parts Selection, Traceability, and Production Andon.
Create Information System Technology Notices for Battery Pack Production Engineering North America.
Plan, monitor, and track project status for design, fabrication, installation, and confirmation activities.
Identify, investigate, and resolve interlock issues between production lines and information systems during setup and trials.
Provide instruction to equipment engineers regarding North American integration requirements.
Travel frequently (domestic and international) and work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications - What You Bring (Must Haves):
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, OR an associate degree with equivalent technical experience (minimum 5 years).
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and multiple shifts to support tooling modifications and installations.
