MUST be in possession of Current DOE Q Clearance, Other Government Agency (OGA) TS or TS/SCI, or DOD TS or TS/SCI for Successful Reciprocity. Individuals who have held these clearances within the last two (2) years MAY be considered if eligible for Reinstatement. These are Requirements of employment and all clearances will be verified.

• An authorized person who ensures the prescribed measures are taken to prevent compromise of safeguards and security interests. Security Escorts are those authorized personnel who hold a DOE Q-Clearance and have been designated the responsibility of accompanying personnel who lack access authorization into the Y-12 Complex Protected Area (PA) and/or Limited Area (LA) to ensure adherence to the prescribed security measures.
• he Security Escort will be trained in the requirements of the Construction Escorting Program. Protect Department of Energy and Corporate/Client facilities and property.

• Direct collaboration with client to assess needs. Escort non-cleared personnel into Authorized limited, protected and exclusion areas. Direct interfacing with Client or Host Physical Security personnel. Monitor and enforce safety and security policies. Interface badging process, including training and briefings for government facilities.

The Escort is primarily responsible to perform escort work such as escorting uncleared individuals into designated buildings and property, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to installations by employees and visitors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Escort and monitor uncleared personnel within all DHS ICE HSI spaces.
• Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies, and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.
• Will arrive at work at the designated time in proper uniform and carrying needed, issued equipment.
• Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned.
• Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
• Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.
• Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays and be on call
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirement:
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience preferred.
• Honorably discharged (If Applicable)
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Security Requirements:
• Active Secret Clearance is required

Skills:
U.S. Citizenship
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.

Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.

Position: Full and Part Time Positions

Job Description P3S is looking for Military Base Escorts to provide daily escort services to un-cleared contractors and visitors performing maintenance and construction activity for NCTAMS PAC MILITARY BASE.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensures all visiting personnel "Sign In/Sign Out" in accordance with approved procedures and processes.
• Escort uncleared workers to the Break rooms, Restrooms, lunch areas and any other areas as required while keeping them in always assigned areas in secured environments.
• Maintains visual and auditory contact of all un-cleared visitors under their control except instances were determined by the Project Manager.
• Maintains proximity to visitors to prevent the intentional or unintentional disclosure of classified information, materials, or equipment.
• Ensure that all escorts announce the presence of un-cleared personnel when entering office spaces within the secured areas.
• Ensures proper housekeeping practices are strictly adhered to.
• Interacts professionally with contractors, customers, vendors and staff members; maintains effective working relationships in cooperation with the management team to meet the mission objectives of the contract.
• Observe uncleared workers while they perform their work duties to ensure they are not accessing sensitive or classified areas, documents, and/or materials.
• Notify leadership of unique situations and problems encountered.
• Meets safety performance standards.
• Remains alert and focused at all times while carrying out their escort duties. Will not engage in any activities which will detract from their responsibilities while on duty.
• Takes all breaks, to include lunch, at the same time as the escorted visitor for which the Contractor is responsible or arranges for another fully cleared and approved Contractor personnel to act as temporary relief.
• Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
• Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
• Immediately notifies the Government Contracting Officer Representative, Headquarters Security, or Project Manager of any security policy, regulation, or any other practices which are inconsistent with sound security procedures.
• Reports to duty on time and acts in a professional manner at all times.

Experience:

Good verbal communication skills are essential. Must be self-directed, have excellent organizational skills with good follow through and the ability to follow processes in place. The Escort must be vigilant and report all suspicious or non-compliant behaviors or conditions.

Certificates/Licenseses/Registration:

U.S. citizen.

Must have valid / active TS/SCI level government security clearance or Interim TS/SCI

Have a current, favorably adjudicated Personal Security Investigation (PSI) completed within the last 5 years from the date of the investigation.

Education: High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one (1) year relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education / experience. Experience in facility/physical security and on-site escort experience a plus

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
