Under limited supervision, officers provide protection of work sites, personnel and assets from events such as assault, theft, vandalism, harassment, and other disruptive incidents along the Alyeska Pipeline. This position is a two weeks on / two weeks off rotation (only work half the year!). For remote/live-in locations, room and board is provided, as is transportation from Anchorage or Fairbanks. For non-live-in locations, COLA is provided (no room/board/transportation provided).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Armed Security Officer
Position Summary:
A Signal Armed Security Officer will conduct security services for the surveillance and protection against fire, theft, pilferage, malicious injury, and destruction. Armed security officers, equipped with concealed weapons, shall be dressed in a soft uniform for roving patrols and posted at the main lobby entrance of the facility assigned. Armed Security Officers play a vital role by actively observing their surroundings, positively engaging with customers, associates, and responding to emergency situations. All duties listed below are minimum requirements - additional duties listed in the site's Post Orders are requirements as well.
Responsibilities of a Armed Security Officer may include:
Provide reasonable health security and infection prevention controls and screenings, as well as provide escort service to and from staff personnel and State vehicles.
Will conduct and deliver Dedicated services that reflect the company's values, expectations and consistent service in alignment with site expectations/post orders.
Will write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology during each shift that align with site instruction/post orders.
Interacting with internal and external personnel on site and promptly report any information that may impact the relationship of the Client to their direct supervisor, the Site Lead Officer or the Dedicated Division Leader.
Responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including company phone, access keys/cards and devices, etc.
Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by direct Supervisor such as reporting standards, service quality and performance in line with site specific policies and procedures.
Communicate with direct Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through daily huddles, such as the Client needs through post orders to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

Vehicle Operations
Safely operate large passenger buses with airbrakes, pickup trucks, vans, or other assigned vehicles in remote settings and in hazardous road conditions caused by factors such as rain, snow, sleet, ice, fog, smoke, and dirt roads
Drive long distances in often changing climate conditions transporting passengers, patrolling are of responsibility, surveillance of well pads and pipeline, and performing other tasks as assigned
Transport personnel to and from various destinations as requested; May lift luggage, freight and personal belongings to and from vehicles, and assist passengers in and out of the vehicle
Fill out daily vehicle maintenance checklist and perform daily preventative maintenance checks
Emergency medical
As first responder, perform rescue functions at accidents, emergencies and disasters to include administering emergency medical aid, lifting, dragging and carrying people away from dangerous situations and securing and evacuating people from particular areas as well as directing traffic for long periods of time.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for sample collection from athletes. Tasks performed by the Doping Control Officer include preparation for, execution of and post-collection administration as it relates to Doping Control both at events and in the out-of-competition setting. Doping Control Officers are the field facing representatives of USADA. The primary objective of the Doping Control Officer is to conduct Doping Control throughout the United States, under direction of the Doping Control Operations team, for Olympic/Paralympic, and Client Services testing teams in support of USADAs mission and vision. The Doping Control Officer works with the HQ team to uphold USADAs goals of creating and maintaining a safe sport environment for all athletes. This role requires a valid Phlebotomy credential in good standing as outlined below. The role will include both local and national travel to conduct Doping Control assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct urine, blood, dried blood spot testing in support of the testing programs for the Olympic/Paralympic, and Client Services testing teams
Accept, plan and manage doping control test assignments
Recruit, onboard Chaperones
Witness sample collection or overseeing the witnessing of the Sample Collection Process
Drive to various locations to perform sample collections
Process athlete Samples according to USADA's protocol and procedures
Ensure accurate documentation/completion of the Doping Control Process
Ship and submit processed Samples to the specified WADA certified laboratory

COMPENSATION & TIME COMMITMENT:
Compensation is on a per-test basis(piece rate) for out-of-competition (OOC) missions, with compensation typically ranging from $130 to $180 per test dependent on the test parameters. OOC test sessions can vary in length, but generally take 1 to 2 hours for successful completion.
In Competition (event) testing is paid at a daily flat rate, typically at $250 per day.
Onboarding is anticipated to begin in December/January with a more significant time commitment up front for training. Expect a time commitment of 24-30 hours of time during the first 60 days of onboarding. After that it should only be 2-3 hours of training and updates per quarter, plus the necessary time to complete test assignments.

Essential Functions:
1. Ensure building occupants and visitors comply with posted rules and regulations. Discrepancies shall be immediately reported to the company or their respective officers.
2. Monitor and enforce the personal identification and visitor control system.
3. Perform facility patrols and facility checks in accordance with routes and schedules as directed.
4. Turn off unnecessary facility lights, lock, unlock, or open windows, doors, gates, and cabinets and enforce energy conservation procedures and other related duties.
5. Answer telephones and take messages.
6. Keep uniforms clean and professionally presentable.
7. Direct traffic, both vehicle and pedestrian, and control parking.
8. Detect and immediately report, persons attempting to gain unauthorized access to the property.
9. Prevent, if possible, unusual incidents, and detect and report damages, accidents, fire hazards, and violations of the security procedures.
10. Obtain professional assistance in accordance with procedures in the event of injury or illness to personnel or others while in the building or on the grounds.

12. Prepare a written report at the end of each shift. Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining these records for the term of the contract.
13. In the event of an emergency condition, notify designated personnel.
14. When required, provide security guard coverage on a shift basis for 24/7 service.
15. Other administrative or miscellaneous light duties, with patrol or other assigned duties.
16. Ensure all information provided regarding this contract is kept in a reading file at the guard station and is maintained by the contractor. This file shall be read and signed by each security guard when first assigned to the position and monthly thereafter.
17. Provide completed and error-free daily security and incident reports. The security guard contractor shall maintain a complete file of these reports.
18. Provide transportation for guards to and from site.
19. Implement annual random drug-testing program of 25% of the Contractor's employees. Test results shall be furnished to the company.
20. Comply with the requirements of the DoD Contract Security Specifications outlined in the DD Form 254.
