We are seeking a highly qualified Residential Security Agent to join our team of dedicated professionals. PAY TRANSPARENCY:

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide armed protection for personnel, facilities, and assets in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
Conduct roving patrols, access control, and perimeter security to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards.
Monitor and respond to security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment.
Screen and process all visitors, ensuring compliance with security procedures.
Identify, investigate, and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site leadership during incidents.
Apply de-escalation techniques and exercise sound judgment when responding to disturbances or threats.
Adhere to all use-of-force policies and maintain weapons in a safe and responsible manner.
Support a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer service at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Be a citizen of the United States of America.
Be at least 21 years of age. While there is no maximum age limit for RSA positions, all applicants shall be able to withstand the physical demands of the job and be capable of responding to emergency situations.
Be a high school graduate or have a General Educational Development (GED), or equivalency.
Be able to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
Possess a valid, unrestricted (except eyeglass wear) state driver's license.
Possess one of the following qualifications:
a minimum of three years of military experience, or;
a minimum of one year of sworn law enforcement or armed contract securityguard experience providing services similar to this contract requirement
Undergo a criminal background check processed by the Government.
Be free from conviction of any felony.
Be free from conviction of any misdemeanor crime of domestic violence in accordance with United States Code, Title 18 S.C. § 922(g)(9) (Lautenberg).
Be free from any convictions for Driving under the Influence in the past three years prior to application.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of investigative practices and available sources of information with particular reference to Federal, State, and County information.

Introduction
Loudoun County Animal Services is looking for a new humane law enforcement officer (HLEO) to join our expanding team. Our officers receive comprehensive training (both classroom and in-field), take-home vehicles, competitive pay, exceptional benefits (including ongoing training, tuition reimbursement and pension) and support from a community of over 440,000 residents.
The humane law enforcement team works within the department of Animal Services to provide comprehensive responses to calls that include dogs running at large, routine investigations, complex felonies, wildlife rescue, animal hoarding, technical large animal rescue (of livestock) and much, much more.
Job Summary
The Humane Law Enforcement team responds to over 5,000 annual calls for service, resolving the majority of these cases with education and positive outcomes, while maintaining a monthly court schedule, in which more serious and complex cases are presented and prosecuted. Officers work with the Animal Services sheltering and veterinary teams to collect forensic evidence and work towards comprehensive resolutions to animal welfare matters in Loudoun County. Our HLEOs are armed, sworn, and an integral part of our community, as we focus on providing compassionate animal rescue, intake, and law enforcement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Humane Law Enforcement is a physically demanding occupation with the potential for exposure to infectious diseases, viruses, noxious fumes and chemicals, as well as risk of injury. A rabies pre-exposure vaccination series will commence immediately upon hire unless proof of prior vaccination is provided.
Must have the ability to handle large and potentially dangerous animals over 100 pounds.
Candidate will become a sworn Humane Law Enforcement Officer and will complete state mandated animal control training.
Must obtain certification in euthanasia within six months of employment. Candidate will also be required to obtain certifications in CPR, First Aid, Incident Command System 100 & 200, and qualifications to use authorized firearms.

Head of Security - Annapolis, Maryland
Crisis24's IRM-Global Operations-Security Division is seeking an exceptional Head of Security to join our global team in Annapolis, Maryland. This role involves offering regional leadership and expert guidance on travel, security, and safety while ensuring our operations run efficiently and effectively. You will need to lead your team, prioritize tasks, uphold service level agreements, and maintain high standards of operational capability and customer satisfaction.
Our global security operations team is committed to assisting clients with their duty of care and travel and security risk management needs. We provide a broad range of security and safety services, addressing both routine and high-risk travel scenarios, as well as crisis situations.
This position is based on-site in Annapolis, Maryland.
What You Will Work On
In this role, you will lead a skilled operational team and uphold high standards of professionalism, teamwork, consistency, and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities include:
Global Travel Security & Emergency Support: Provide well-informed travel security assessments and safety recommendations. Ensure smooth emergency responses and evacuations.
Team Management & Development: Oversee staff training, appraisals, and professional development. Foster effective communication and collaboration.
Operational Tasks: Implement security and operational processes promptly and efficiently.
Specific responsibilities include:
Provide daily guidance to Global Operations Centre staff and managers, ensuring consistent and competent security responses.
Monitor and maintain quality control.
In close collaboration with Human Resources, lead professional recruitment for Security Operations Specialists and Managers.
Guide and support staff training, especially on security and emergency topics.
Develop and maintain security protocols, instructions, and client operating procedures.
Manage platforms, technology, and call-handling software.
Ensure compliance with company policies, particularly in Information Security and Data Protection.
Stay informed on all Crisis24 services and oversee threat assessments for travel tasks.
Deliver pre-travel briefings to various travelers (e.g., expats, corporate travelers, academia).
Advise the team on security measures and content for client requests.
Oversee ad hoc security tasks and provide advice on best practices and pricing.
Monitor escalating situations and guide internal contingency planning.
Lead client conference calls and contingency planning based on global events.
Ensure efficient alerting and communication processes within the regional team.
Develop operational solutions based on specifications from senior management or client needs.
Ensure the team understands internal and external costs for solutions and emergency tasks.
Compile post-operation reports for both internal improvements and external marketing.
Manage the staffing roster for the regional Global Operations Centre.
Represent the Security Operations team in internal and external meetings.
Support travel security and operational tasks as needed by the Global Security Director.
What You Will Bring
We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in pre-travel security assessments, travel security advice, asset protection, risk management, and crisis response. You should be skilled in threat monitoring, communication, and managing incidents, including global evacuations.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of operational and/or security experience, ideally from military, law enforcement, or corporate security backgrounds.
Education: Bachelor's degree in international studies, development, or related fields, or 4 years of direct experience in crisis response or military operations.
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of operational and crisis management.
Proven experience in leading teams in challenging environments.
Excellent communication skills - able to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new systems.
Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
A Team player who can manage additional responsibilities with professionalism.
Additional qualifications that would be a plus:
Experience in emergency management, call centers, or expatriate settings.
Other language skills are also advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The compensation package includes a comprehensive suite of employee benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as participation in the company's 401(k) retirement plan.

Job Summary
The Department of Community Corrections is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Pretrial Officer position. The Officer will be responsible for supervising a caseload of defendants referred to the Pretrial Division of the Department of Community Corrections for pretrial supervision by the Courts or the Office of the Loudoun County Magistrate, according to DCJS standards. This position requires regularly attending Court proceedings, maintaining accurate automated case log notes and records, performing drug/alcohol testing, completing risk assessments, making/presenting recommendations to the Court for bond release, interviewing recently arrested individuals in custody, conducting criminal background checks and pretrial investigations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, or related field; two (2) years of criminal justice or counseling work experience in a criminal justice, jail, or corrections setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Spanish proficiency.
Experience working with criminal justice-involved individuals and/or strong background/knowledge/education in substance abuse, addiction, mental health, domestic violence, and appropriate services/ treatments.
Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Successful candidate must undergo and complete a criminal background check. Annual DMV record check will be required.
Selected candidate will obtain required VCIN certification within 90 days of hire.
Must be willing to supervise criminal defendants and perform occasional residential visits, some of whom may have an arrest history of violent crime.
Collecting samples for urinalysis and administration of alcohol breath tests.
Must have strong writing skills and be able to compile facts and information into concise reports for submission to the Court.
Must have strong communication skills to interact professionally and build relationships with representatives from the legal community such as Commonwealth's Attorneys, Police Officers, Defense Attorneys, Judges, and Court personnel.
Must be able to work as part of a team within the Pretrial Division and with the entire Community Corrections Department.
