Conduct roving patrols, access control, and perimeter security to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards. Monitor and respond to security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment. Screen and process all visitors, ensuring compliance with security procedures. Identify, investigate, and report suspicious activity or safety concerns. Maintain detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports. Coordinate and communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site leadership during incidents. Apply de-escalation techniques and exercise sound judgment when responding to disturbances or threats. Adhere to all use-of-force policies and maintain weapons in a safe and responsible manner. The ISU reports to the DHS Federal Protective Services (FPS), Personnel Security Division (PSD). Producing finished documentation such as reports, special studies, policy procedure development. Ability to conduct analyses, evaluations, and internal inspection of security programs, and present oral and written products Write and maintain Industrial Security SOP. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience. Relevant experience shall include experience within one or more of the standard securities and/or intelligence fields e.g., technical, physical, information, industrial, personnel and operational security. Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in one or more security and/or intelligence discipline and experience implementing complex government security and/or intelligence programs and policies is preferable. Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
