· Patrol buildings, and other duties as assigned.
· Deny entry to all unauthorized individuals and escort unauthorized individuals off the property as needed.
· Respond to incidents and provide accurate documentation including verbal and written reports of incidents to necessary personnel and/or authorities.
· Provide entry to authorized individuals
· Alert police of any elevated threats that may occur
· Protect people, businesses, and property from criminal activity
· Investigate reports of suspicious activities or disruptions occurring on property

Requirements
We prefer to partner with someone with the following education and experience: Private Security Officers to perform their job duties in compliance with state requirements such as additional training and credentialing.
Must have the ability to handle administrative tasks and be physically able to walk/climb at the facility.
· High School Diploma/GED
· Ability to perform aforementioned physical tasks
· Ability to utilize a high emotional quotient to build relationships with DomTar employees.
· Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check

Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide guests with a secure and positive experience at Walton Arts Center/Walmart AMP. Securityguards will execute screening procedures and enforce policies designed to minimize risk and disruption of the event experience while ensuring a strong positive customer service interaction. Securityguards are expected to uphold the values of the organization and to follow Walton Arts Center/Walmart AMP procedures related to interactions with guests.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide a secure and positive first impression of Walton Arts Center/Walmart AMP by offering superior, individualized service. Monitor entry and exit points to specific areas of Walton Arts Center, including screening of guests' bags prior to entering the venue.
Provide Walton Arts Center/Walmart AMP Guests accurate event and facility information.
Enforce facility policies (i.e., no smoking, no re-entry) and procedures throughout the building.
Respond to emergencies as necessary.
Aid in direction of orderly evacuation of the building during emergencies.
Deal with patron problems and complaints up to the level where intervention by a Security Supervisor is required.
Minimum 1 year experience in a position where interacting with the public to provide services was a requirement of the job.
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols.
Ability to remain calm and perform duties under pressure and time limits
Reliable and punctual.
Able to secure transportation to and from work when scheduled.

About the Position:
Campus Security Patrol plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment for faculty, staff, guests, and students. This role is a public-facing position in the Campus Security department, spending most of its time in public areas of the facilities and grounds, interacting with team members, guests, and students. Security Patrol executes emergency response procedures when needed, including first aid, building and environmental emergency response, de-escalation, and coordinating with EMS/Fire/Police when on campus.
Strong communication, organizational and technological skills are required to simultaneously attend daily responsibilities, take charge in emergency situations, and support the security and safety needs of many campus-sponsored events.
Campus Security Patrol can expect to work evenings and weekends, including large events across multiple venues, regularly to support campus operations. This position is considered essential personnel as it is critical to the continuation of operations and services that directly relate to the safety, health, and welfare of the institution. Note that the general schedule for this position may consist of a rotating shift. Hours may extend past 12:30am and are subject to change depending on the needs of the campus entities.
What you will do:
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Patrol interior and outdoor spaces across the campus to establish presence.
Enforce policies and procedures so that they ensure a positive outcome for all and maintain customer service.
Attend pre-shift meetings and post-shift pass-downs to ensure continuous operations.
Respond to medical emergencies, provide basic first aid when necessary, and coordinate with Emergency Medical Services.
Respond to security and safety incidents, execute response procedures, and coordinate with Emergency Responders.
Respond to the safety and security emergencies, concerns, inquiries and complaints of faculty, staff, guests, and students.
Report security, personnel, and safety issues to the Campus Security Managers and Director.

Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide guests with a secure and positive experience at Walton Arts Center/Walmart AMP. Securityguards will execute screening procedures and enforce policies designed to minimize risk and disruption of the event experience while ensuring a strong positive customer service interaction. Securityguards are expected to uphold the values of the organization and to follow Walton Arts Center/Walmart AMP procedures related to interactions with guests.
Requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide a secure and positive first impression of Walton Arts Center/Walmart AMP by offering superior, individualized service. Monitor entry and exit points to specific areas of Walton Arts Center, including screening of guests' bags prior to entering the venue.
Provide Walton Arts Center/Walmart AMP Guests accurate event and facility information.
Enforce facility policies (i.e., no smoking, no re-entry) and procedures throughout the building.
Respond to emergencies as necessary.
Aid in direction of orderly evacuation of the building during emergencies.
Deal with patron problems and complaints up to the level where intervention by a Security Supervisor is required.
Minimum 1 year experience in a position where interacting with the public to provide services was a requirement of the job.
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols.
Ability to remain calm and perform duties under pressure and time limits
Reliable and punctual.
Able to secure transportation to and from work when scheduled.
Willing and able to interact with the organization through digital means via web page, smartphone apps or otherwise for the purposes of communicating schedule, shift notes and other necessary information with supervisor and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
We encourage applicants with a wide range of relevant experiences and skills to apply. Experience in emergency response, military service, or similar high-stress environments is valued, but not required.
