Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the SBA Closing Manager, the SBA Closing Officer supports various functions of SBA lending, including loan packaging, and primarily the closing and post-closing process, as well as ensuring compliance with SBA rules and regulations. Under minimal supervision and following established department policies and procedures, prepares and analyzes loan closing, servicing, liquidation; and participates in problem resolution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare and review the SBA, GP, CLP, and PLP loan submission packages.
Ensure SBA Terms and Conditions are consistent with approved credit memo.
Prepare and review Closing Checklist and SBA closing documents.
Prepare and review Lender's Escrow Instructions.
Review Prelim Title Report, Purchase Agreement and Escrow Instructions.
Review loan file for any missing items and follow up with loan officer/borrower.
Coordinate with borrower, broker, title, escrow, CDC and outside counsel for loan closing.
Review entity formation documents and submit the loan doc request to DCF via nCino.
Collect all pending items, including insurance, upload all executed loan documents to nCino, and coordinate funding with DCF.

ID Checks
Screening patrons (weapons/illegal substances)
Report incidents identifying who, what, why, when and how. These reports should be emailed at the end of the shift.
Any use of force should be reported immediately to the Director of Security and to the above email by the end of shift.
Monitor restaurant premises with walk throughs, make your presence known, check restroom and outdoor exit areas and any other areas of concealment.
Monitor the parking lot from the main door or the immediate area of our facility.
Make sure no guests are asking in areas that are not designated for smoking.
Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Monitor coworker activity for safety and assistance when necessary.

There are three positions within Security: check ID's, screen patrons, and monitoring the premises/patrons.
The expected work hours are as scheduled, typically between the hours of 5 pm until 3am Thursday through Saturday and 5pm until 1 am Sunday through Wednesday. You are responsible for clocking in and out during each shift. Failure to do so, may be grounds for discipline, up to and including termination.

Campus Safety Officers (CSO) serve as the first responders throughout the APU Campus, ensuring the protection of students, staff, faculty, and assets at Azusa Pacific University. Required Education

Primary Duties/Essential Functions

Be available and ready at any point during a shift to respond to community needs.
Observes, reports, intervenes when necessary, and identifies persons involved in suspicious activities or manners. Ensures that unauthorized persons leave the university and community.
Enforces university policies, regulations, and municipal, state, and federal laws. Assists local law enforcement as necessary.
Conducts thorough investigations as assigned and completes detailed reports as to those investigations.
Participates in crime prevention programs.
Assists Student Life and Residence Life personnel as required. Provides on-campus escorts to university students and personnel as requested.

POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Crime Monitoring, Prevention, and Response

Must be available and willing to work any shift assigned (day, swing, night) on all days of the week (weekdays, weekends, and holidays). Assigned shifts may be scheduled for up to six (6) months. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours are often required. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the organization or because of special events and major incidents.
