Duties
During the course of their careers, Secret Service Police carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. The Secret Service has determined that age is essential to the performance of this position.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Lead SecurityGuard at Charlie Mike Protective Services, you will:
Work various security details such as: Hostile Terminations, Workplace Violence, Asset Recovery/Delivery, Close Protection and more.
Assist securityguards with operational questions and concerns.
Assist with employee performance reviews.

Qualifications and Skills:

A valid Colorado CCW

A Current Denver Armed Guard Card

5 years of experience in security operations, armed security, military combat, military police, or law enforcement.
Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency response tactics.
Exceptional judgment, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Physical fitness for demanding tasks and agility.
Reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Successful completion of a thorough background check and drug screening.
Strong attention to Details
Must have good spoken and written English.
Must be available to work nights and weekends (if necessary).

Position Summary
The Campus Safety Officer position is assigned to Patrol Operations within Campus Safety. Campus Safety Officers are the primary safety and security personnel for the University. Working Environment

Specific vision abilities required by this job include correction to 20/30 vision, close vision, distance vision, night vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must also possess the ability to hear, for safety reasons inherent to the essential functions of the job. Must maintain fitness standards to ensure the ability to physically apprehend and detain suspects, provide emergency and protective services, and conduct other physically demanding assignments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and run, climb stairs and must routinely lift and/or move 50 pounds. Work Schedule

8 years experience as lead superintendent on secure facility, commercial interior, retail, building renovation projects
Experience in secure facility construction: knowledge of TEMPEST requirements.

Eligibility

Minimum qualifications for original appointment include:

from possessing a firearm or ammunition under Federal or Colorado law.

vi) Any applicant who tests positive for marijuana during the pre-employment drug test will
not be hired and will be ineligible to be employed within the City of Aurora for one year.

**Please note this will be for future openings and you must be local to the Denver, CO area** Amentum is looking for security-minded and energetic individuals to start or extend their careers in national security. We work with customers in the Intelligence Community (IC) to provide vital mission support.
As a Security Monitor, you will be responsible for the security and integrity of the facilities. Amentum will extensively train you on how to closely observe and surveil your surroundings and the activities of individuals working in and/or visiting sensitive facilities. Active TS/SCI minimum required.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Must possess a **current** TS/SCI w/poly clearance; US Citizenship required to obtain and maintain TS/SCI w/poly clearance.
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Ability to walk and stand for a minimum of 8-12 hours per day
+ Possess the visual acuity to observe the activities of other individuals from a moderate distance
+ This position requires visual observation of personnel working or visiting customer facilities
+ Must successfully complete DCJS training within 90 days of hire
+ Possess good customer service skills
+ Must demonstrate satisfactory oral and written communication skills, including the ability to describe incidents via verbal briefing and written report
+ Must have reliable transportation to sites not accessible via public transportation or pickup/drop-off
Available Shifts
+ 8-12 hour shifts may vary as needed and include evenings, weekends and holidays
**Compensation**
The starting hourly rate for this position is between $32-40 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
