Qualifications - The following experience, skills & knowledge are required and/or preferred: High School degree required. At least three (3) years of experience in law enforcement, public safety or the military. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable. Current Florida “D” (Guard) License and “G” (Gun) License required. Weapons qualification under HR 218, the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) is preferred, but does not take the place of the required FL licensure. Current CPR, First Aid and AED certification or ability to obtain before an offer of employment. Valid driver's license. Ability to write reports and routine correspondence.
