Escort individuals to specified locations and provide personal protection.
Use walkie-talkies and cell phones to stay in contact with security personnel.
Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence tampering.
Write clear and concise reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences, incidents or medical emergencies.
Call police or fire department in case of emergency.
Provide friendly customer service.

Position Description:
The SecurityGuard is responsible for maintaining the park in a safe and secure condition. Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week's schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet. If you know you will be unavailable on an upcoming date or time that would normally fall within your availability described on this sheet, you must communicate this with your supervisor, so they know not to schedule you.
For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
