Full-time Hourly Position starting at $16.50 DOE plus benefits.
Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of our Hotel Albuquerque of Old Town.
Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
Work under direction of the Regional Director of Security.
Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers, and guests.
Communicate regularly with leadership (Regional Director and General Manager) regarding security job assignments and required timeframe for proper workflow on property.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations policies.
Reduce the opportunity for the commission of crimes through the use of thorough, preventive patrol and high visibility of security throughout the premises on a timely schedule.
Watch for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on the premises.
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
Address all complaints from guests / debriefs with team members in person whenever possible.
Promote and preserve the peace on premises to assure a comfortable and non- threatening environment for guests and employees.
Aid, or seek aid for, individuals who are in danger of physical harm, or in need of medical attention.
Respond to emergencies as prescribed in Emergencies Service Procedures.
Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access, valet, bell services and housekeeping if required during the shift.
Input all written reports and activity summaries of all incidents answered during shift while adhering to company guidelines on confidentiality.
Help assure compliance with liquor laws.
Assist in developing and presenting security related programs.
Willingness to be cross trained to assist at any of our sister properties.
Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties.

Requirements
Strong knowledge of security software and MS Office preferred.

KR is accepting applications for individuals to provide aviation screening services for the Roswell Air Center.
Duties/Responsibility
Perform security screening of passengers and property, including the operation of x-ray machines to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers.
Hand Wand (requires reaching the wand from the floor to overhead) and pat down searches.
Monitor walk-through metal detector screening equipment
Control entry and exit points.
Provide the traveling public with the highest levels of security, customer service, and professionalism.
Maintain focus and awareness and work within a stressful environment.
Make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations.
Available to work various shifts and overtime, as needed.
Perform physically demanding tasks, to include but not limited to:

Qualifications
Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English. Must be able to pass an English Language Assessment Test.
US Citizen
Have a high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), High School Equivalency Test (HiSET), or Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) credential OR at least one year of full-time work experience in the security industry, aviation screening, or as an X-ray technician.
Applicants must pass TSA/TSO CBT aptitude assessment to be considered for this position.

Medical Requirements
Must meet job-related medical standards that will be assessed in a pre-employment medical evaluation. These standards include but are not limited to visual ability, hearing ability, adequate joint mobility, dexterity, and range of motion, that considers relevant aspects of all body systems.
Training Requirements
TSO will be required to complete Dual Function training. TSOs must participate in and pass all recurrent and specialized training and recertification tests on a periodic basis.
Security Requirements
TSOs must pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
TSOs must pass a background investigation, including a criminal check and a credit check. This is a non-critical sensitive National Security position that requires you to be fingerprinted, photographed, and complete appropriate security paperwork, including a SF-86 Questionnaire for National Security Positions.
The pre-employment background investigation must be COMPLETED with favorable results prior to a final offer of employment and cannot be initiated until submission of a completed questionnaire.

Responsible for overseeing the safety and security of Albuquerque Convention Center facilities and Albuquerque Convention Center patrons, employees, and assets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining twenty-four (24) hour security of the interior and exterior of the building.
Provide security services for assigned facilities; conduct periodic patrols by foot, to ensure only authorized personnel are on facility grounds.
Lock and unlock facility doors as directed.
Regulate the flow of employees and the public on facility premises to ensure safety.
Respond to calls for service and reports of crimes in progress; call for emergency services (police, medical or fire) as necessary; assist outside agencies as needed.
Conduct preliminary investigations to determine if a crime has been committed; determine whether further action is warranted; document incidents and prepare reports.
May conduct periodic fire and safety hazard inspections of facilities; develop recommendations for enhancing security precautions.
