Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Our Uniformed Division's mission is to protect facilities and venues secured for U.S. Secret Service protectees. Throughout its history, the Uniformed Division has accomplished this mission through individuals who embody honor, integrity and a commitment to excellence.
Today, the Uniformed Division has grown both in size and scope of responsibility and is mandated by law to provide physical security for the White House Complex and the vice president's residence at the Naval Observatory. It also provides security for the Treasury Department building and foreign diplomatic missions in Washington, D.C. The Uniformed Division also has specialized teams including Counter Sniper, Emergency Response, K-9, and more.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.

Job Summary
The Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of hospital grounds as well as of employees, patients and visitors. GENERAL PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of a Loss Prevention and Safety Associate, (LPA), is to protect the associates and assets of Ross. The LPA should proactively strive to support a Safety-first Culture, by enforcing and maintaining the company's established processes for facility safety and security and prevention of accidents and injuries. The LPA must exemplify good judgment and strong decision-making skills with regards to managing inbound traffic and driver relations at the guard shack and associate, visitor, vendor, and contractor relations in our front lobbies. During times of Pandemic, the LPA is responsible for health screening and making subsequent decisions on entry and secondary screening. Loss Prevention Associates are expected to maintain confidentiality in respecting employees' privacy within the company guidelines and procedures. Responsibilities:
* Perform security and resource protection services for an assigned project in accordance with all local, state and federal laws, INA policies and procedures and the site-specific standard operating procedures

* Ability to use deductive reasoning in processing information to ascertain facts regarding any and all situations
* Successful completion of INA security training program in addition to site-specific required training is required
* Valid driver's license from the state of residence and access to reliable transportation
* Ability to pass INA's pre-employment background screening, including drug screen and criminal history check
* Ability to walk, run and move over uneven terrain and/or pavement
* May be exposed to all types of weather conditions
* May be exposed to hazardous and/or dangerous situations
