What Does A Security Manager Do At SRA International, Inc., A CSRA Company

* The role of Security Manager is pivotally to the successful of our support of this program, you will:
* Evaluate, design and supervise the installation and system level operations of alarm systems and access control systems to ensure compliance with customer security standards; analyze, develop, and implement cost effective physical security solutions for a variety of programs and customers; participate in the development of technical specifications and operating parameters to obtain customer approval for technical security requirements affecting secure areas; review all plans for security items and approve construction; facilitate and assist with all aspects of lock and key security, including all GSA approved locking devices; maintain records related accountability of security containers/locks; partner with program security managers to ensure all testing and training are done on the company's Intrusion Detection System(s); serve as primary liaison with the external alarm monitoring provider to ensure security of controlled areas; supervise the duties and responsibilities of uniformed security officers; develop operational and security procedures required to maintain and/or improve the level of security at all SRA facilities; stay abreast of physical security mandates, policies, procedures; serve as primary interface with Workplace Environment on facility access and changes; supervise the duties and responsibilities of SRA's Headquarters front desk personnel; track and supervise day to day administration of SRA's badging process; support Corporate Security management on cross-functional initiatives, as required.
* Manages direct reports on an ongoing basis to include hire/fire/pay action, etc. responsibilities.
* Supervise system level operations of alarm and access control systems
* Maintain accurate records related to the accountability of security containers and locks
* Serves as primary Security interface with Workplace Environments on all facility-related issues
* Participate in the development of technical specifications and operating parameters to obtain customer approval from customers

What Does A Security Manager Do At Northrop Grumman

* Responsible for ensuring all NGAS Space Park SCIF, SAP and DoD Closed areas are compliant with the NISPOM, DCID 6/9, ICD 705 and JAFAN 6/9 government regulations, corporate security policies and guidelines.
* Provides security support to all SCI, SAP and DoD contracts.
* Directly Managers employees including the NGAS Space Park Lock & Key shop.
* Oversees the installation and maintenance of all alarm and access control systems.
* Responsible for managing the Space Park alarm and access control system maintenance contract, which includes contract alarm technicians.
