Full-time Description The Night Security and Treatment Assistant's provide residents and the agency with appropriate security to ensure safety of staff and residents. The Security/TA person will make periodic safety and security checks as established by Cedar Creek Integrated Health. of premises, cabins, administrative offices, and all buildings at the beginning of the shift and at intervals throughout. The Night Security/TA will provide transportation to incoming residents or other transportation as authorized by the Clinical Director. Other responsibilities may be monitoring medication administration, assessing conflict situations with residents, providing medication, and contacting supervisors as needed. Intakes may be conducted by night security. The Night Security/Treatment Assistant will follow policies and procedures, all rules and instructions regarding the therapeutic milieu and routines. Assist with paperwork of urine tests Complete room searches when requested by Clinical Director Report any resident needs or requests to oncoming shift staff Reorient residents to their responsibilities when necessary Maintain a professional relationship with residents Report any disruptive behavior or violations that occur during your shift in the daily log Communicate any concerns to oncoming staff your fellow staff members is a vital part of this position Room checks are to be done every 2 hours unless there is reason to believe that they need to be done more often When provided, all security systems are to be overseen as to being managed, maintained, and operated daily No resident is to be outside past 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 p.m. on weekends No resident is to be outside until 5:30 a.m. (Allowed outside between 5:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.) The Night Security/TA person is never to leave the property during working hours unless there is someone to oversee his/her responsibilities. In the case of a medical emergency 911 is to be called. Staff is to oversee the assistance to the resident until such time as the EMT is in control of the situation. Other residents are never allowed to leave the premises with the afflicted resident. Night Security/TA is to ensure this policy. The grounds are to be walked twice during a shift. All doors to all buildings are to be locked for safety purposes. Anything that is out of the ordinary is to be reported and/or an incident report is to be made out and left for the day shift to review. The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. Other responsibilities include: preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist must report any hazardous or unsafe condition to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. Applicants cannot have a dishonorable discharge from the Armed Forces; nor can they have any convictions for misdemeanors involving false statements, perjury, or domestic violence. The top qualified applicants will be invited to written and physical testing. The written exam consists of four separately timed sections, with no prior law enforcement knowledge required.
