Full-time Description The Night Security and Treatment Assistant's provide residents and the agency with appropriate security to ensure safety of staff and residents. The Security/TA person will make periodic safety and security checks as established by Cedar Creek Integrated Health. of premises, cabins, administrative offices, and all buildings at the beginning of the shift and at intervals throughout. The Night Security/TA will provide transportation to incoming residents or other transportation as authorized by the Clinical Director. Other responsibilities may be monitoring medication administration, assessing conflict situations with residents, providing medication, and contacting supervisors as needed. Intakes may be conducted by night security. The Night Security/Treatment Assistant will follow policies and procedures, all rules and instructions regarding the therapeutic milieu and routines. In the case of a medical emergency 911 is to be called. Staff is to oversee the assistance to the resident until such time as the EMT is in control of the situation. Other residents are never allowed to leave the premises with the afflicted resident. Night Security/TA is to ensure this policy. The grounds are to be walked twice during a shift. All doors to all buildings are to be locked for safety purposes. Anything that is out of the ordinary is to be reported and/or an incident report is to be made out and left for the day shift to review.
