Duties and Responsibilities
Guard I is responsible for enforcing all laws, rules and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department.
Enforces all authorized laws, rules, and regulations.

Provide vehicle transportation support function under direction of supervisor in compliance with government, corporate and management directives.

Performs building security and safety checks.
Qualifications
Minimum of High School graduate or equivalent.
Prefer 1 year of experience in a security department, law enforcement agency, or experience with security duties.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
Prefer Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
Additional Requirements: Prefer knowledge of riot and crowd control techniques and law enforcement procedures. Must maintain CPR/FA Certification. Ability to obtain a bus driver's license. Essential Tasks

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Qualifications/Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting;

Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Loss Prevention Officer position include but are not limited to:
Monitor, control, and document vehicular traffic
Secure premises by patrolling property
Inspect Vehicles
Inspect bags, lunch boxes
Monitor controlled access points
Complete required reports in a timely manner
Record observations, occurrences and surveillance activities
Prevent loss/damage to company property by providing a uniformed presence
Investigate incidents of irregularity
Contribute to a team effort
Other duties as assigned
