The Global Security & Safety department is responsible for ensuring the safety, security and well-being of all ESPN human resources, guests and assets. In addition, we provide security and safety services for all ESPN owned and leased facilities and ESPN remote events worldwide! The Security Specialist will assist in all Main Security Office functions to include security Implementation, emergency response, supervise fire and HVAC Systems, partner with local police and fire departments, dispatch operations, and emergency notifications. This role is a significant contributor to ensuring property and people protection and the safety at The Woodlands facility located in Montgomery County, Texas. What Will You Do? Greet, screen, and advise all visitors following the established procedures. Implement company security and parking policies consistently and fairly. Respond to medical, fire, security, and other safety related emergencies and incidents as trained and write comprehensive reports following established procedures. Might be asked to provide security presence at special events (on or off-campus). Perform vehicle inspections in accordance with established inspection protocols. In some instances, establish barricades, operate gates, and generally direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Complete special assignments and assist with Command Post and Global Operations Center duties Accurately build work orders documenting requestors name, location, type of service needed and dispatch maintenance personnel to the accurate location of requested work orders. Identify craft on all routine requests and build work orders Assist in the distribution and tracking of related departmental keys. Supervise handheld radio channels for HVAC, Electrical, Maintenance, Construction and Safety to facilitate communication between groups.
