Responsibilities for Tactical Security Flex Officer:
Patrol designated rail yards, facilities, and surrounding property along assigned routes using a company vehicle, focusing on the staging lanes and trailer areas located on the staging zone tracks.

Inspect stations for vandalism, theft, tampering, loitering, or unauthorized vehicle parking.

Maintain a strong security presence using marked patrol vehicles.
Site Inspections:
Check the physical condition of chargers, kiosks, payment terminals, and cables.
Identify and document graffiti, equipment damage, or hazards.
Ensure charging areas are free of obstacles, debris, or improperly parked vehicles.
Engage courteously with members of the public when approached, while avoiding interference with charging customers unless safety is at risk.
Reporting & Documentation
Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) with detailed observations.
Submit Incident Reports immediately for vandalism, theft, hazards, or critical events.
Use electronic reporting tools (e.g., Lighthouse app) with time-stamped notes and photos.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Police Officer Trainee is a non-sworn, temporary classification intended to prepare individuals to become sworn police officers. Under general supervision, attend a rigorous four-month, high stress, physically demanding basic police academy designed to qualify trainees as a police officer.
