Job DescriptionDescription: The Unarmed Security Guard is responsible for keeping the Nook Sports complex safe and secured during daily operating hours and events as well as greeting our guests in and around the Sports Complex. The main duties of this position include large event crowd control, parking lot traffic flow, and bag checks. The starting pay rate for this position is $14/hour. A candidate with an abundance of experience will be subject to a higher starting pay rate. SCHEDULE: Hours are variable and will include mostly weekends. Medical Examination A medical examination of each applicant will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment but prior to actual appointment to probationary status. This examination is to identify any medical problems that might inhibit work performance, shorten a career or contribute to work-related disabilities. Areas of evaluation will include but are not limited to: audio examination, eye examination, blood and blood pressure evaluation, medical history and clinical examination.
