The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for Firm Partners, employees, clients, guests and vendors. This role monitors and authorizes all incoming and outgoing traffic to protect persons and property against theft and vandalism at all times. What You'll Do: Assist with access control procedures at the healthcare location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment. Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors, patients, and staff in a professional manner. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report security-related concerns. Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies. Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders as needed during emergency response activities. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
