Summary:

Be willing to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background report to include fingerprints. Must have a clean criminal history with no convictions or major traffic offenses
Must have experience and knowledge of security operations

Must be medically fit and undergo medical testing
Must pass a Physical Ability Test (to include - run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and 21 pushups in two minutes). This is strictly enforced, and exceptions or waivers will not be allowed

Regular working hours are 48 hours per week. Due to the nature of the proposed employment, the employee may work on different schedules on different days of the week as assigned by a supervisor and may also be required to work additional hours beyond scheduled time

General Purpose
Promotes the safety of the credit union. Directs and maintains current policies and procedure relating to security and on all issues of the credit union. Handles all aspects of safety at the credit union as it relates to the security of the credit union.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Develops goals, objectives, budgets and priorities for security as directed by the COO.
Responsible for the physical security of the credit union. This includes reviewing lighting, cameras etc. for branches and ATMs.
Maintains excellent working knowledge of all security needs and systems.
Identifies all applicable laws and regulations that might have any bearing on the credit union's operations. Informs employees of these laws and regulations.
Remains aware of changes in regulations and analyzes the likely effect of these changes on operations.
Assists in the revision and implementation of forms and procedures when requirements change. This includes all security procedures, alarm procedures and emergency procedures.
Ensures that security policies are properly administered and procedures are followed.
Collects pertinent information and prepares a written recommendation to management on observed risk.
Prepares and provides security training and awareness to all employees.
Ensures that all branch personnel abide by security programs by monitoring all operations.
Schedules and tests all alarm systems to ensure proper operation and condition.
