Security - P5 level (Manager, Global Due Diligence & Investigations) Purpose Responsible for the day-to-day management of the independent channel partner and third-party intermediary due diligence screenings and identify potential risks to BSC in connection with the proposed relationships with the entities. The information provided by the Manager, Global Due Diligence & Investigations, will enable Global Security management and the cross-functional team of BSC senior leaders to make informed decisions when evaluating and resolving sensitive investigations; the successful candidate will also advise, as necessary, future business relationships in emerging markets. The Manager, Global Due Diligence & Investigations will also manage the intake of various reports made to the Global Security function and assign matters for appropriate courses of action. Additionally, the Manager, Global Due Diligence & Investigations will conduct internal investigations company-wide. Responsibilities * Manage the global Third Party-related due diligence process, to include reviewing due diligence requests made by the respective business leads, liaising with the business leads to obtain additional information where necessary, initiating due diligence reviews to be conducted by the approved BSC vendors, monitoring progress to ensure due diligence requests are completed in a timely fashion, reviewing due diligence reports for potential risks or issues, and reviewing on-going low level due diligence screenings. * Prepare detailed assessments of potential risks or concerns and communicate to Global Security Management. In the absense of the Associate Director, Global Due Diligence & Investigations, faciliate the review of potential issues by the cross-functional team comprised of senior BSC leaders and communicate the resolution. * Maintain meticulous documentation related to the due diligence screenings to appropriately capture analysis, recommendation, and all follow up efforts. * Manage the intake of reports made to the Global Security team, assign matters to appropriate team members for action, and follow up to ensure resolution of all open items. * Assist in the development and implementation of workflows and operating procedures related to the third party due diligence program. * Collaborate with Global Compliance Third Party team to establish third party review protocols and update tools and templates within the Third Party tool. * Build and maintain excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders, including the Global Compliance Third Party team, business leads across various regions and countries, and due diligence vendors. * Assist where needed in coordinating cross functional efforts with members of Global Compliance, Global Regulatory and Privacy, Legal, and Human Resources, to provide thorough analysis of security risks and development of appropriate mitigating strategies. * Investigate internal matters for Global Security globally. Investigations include interviews, documentation, recommendations, cross-functional team dialogue, and possible law enforcement coordination. * Other job responsibilities as assigned and as needed by the corporation. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide support in planning, developing, and deploying internal communications and trainings that enhance Loss Mitigation strategies and operations. Responsible for conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on system changes to assure compliance with investors, guarantors or specific regulation. Support management in ensuring that implementations and changes related to system changes are in place and provide consistent support to Loss Mitigation staff. Develop initiatives to facilitate understanding and adoption of new instructions, digital channels, or changes in processes. Develop and implement documentations and tools to facilitates process adoption and compliance within Loss Mitigation operation. Work in a cross functional role with all Loss Mitigation Staff, technologies and areas to review impact of other areas initiatives, projects, instructions, or processes. Serve as liaison between Bank and Back in the Black (BITB) and operational end-users for system consultations, drive responses and steps to follow to cover business needs. Collaborate with the Delinquency Management Unit in any given initiative or project, by evaluating systems processes or data available, identifies requirements and areas for improvement and implements solutions. Provide support to management in all staff-related topic according to Banks procedures and escalates corresponding topics in a timely manner. Identifies and document defects found during the user acceptance test. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Associate, technical degree or approved credits in Business Administration or related field required. Finance or Accounting majors preferred. Two (2)+ years working in Delinquency Management related area highly desirable. Experience managing loss mitigation related developments and new projects implementation preferred. Minimum experience requirement can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Broad knowledge and experience in Loss Mitigation, Delinquency Management and/or related business areas preferred. Adept in organizing, managing, and tracking multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent oral & written communication skills in Spanish & English, being able to communicate at all organizational levels. Expertise in computer skills, including but not limited to the Microsoft Office suite required. WORK AUTHORIZATION & ELEGIBILITY: Legally authorized to work in the US is required.
