Seeking professional Security Officer with commercial building experience to staff one of our White Plains locations. A valid NYS Security Guard license is required. Candidates should be very presentable, well spoken and willing to be part of a team. Fire panel experience is a plus. Qualifications Valid driver's license required. Ability to maintain a NYS Security Guard License. Ability to obtain and maintain a New York State First Responder Certification. Ability to stand/walk on post for approximately 80% of assigned tour. Ability to lift/carry a minimum weight of twenty (20) pounds. Ability to walk up/down numerous flights of stairs. Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and in inclement weather. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a college or university setting preferred. Familiarity with Jeanne Clery Act compliance and Title IX responsibilities is a plus.
