Job Purpose
The role of the Security Specialist is to help support the strategy, goals, and objectives of the CBTS Security (Cyber and Physical Security) organization. CBTS Security develops policies, standards, and guidelines and provides services to mitigate cyber and physical risks to CBTS data, IT systems, electronic products, facilities, physical assets, and, most importantly, its employees.
For this specific role we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to serve as a part-time liaison with the Department of Justice (DOJ). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the duties required under a Letter of Agreement (LOA) with the United States Government. This role involves ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions outlined in the LOA, facilitating communication between our company and the DOJ, and addressing any national security and law enforcement risks as stipulated in the agreement.
Essential Functions
Act as the primary point of contact between our company and the DOJ.
Manage and oversee the implementation of all duties and commitments outlined in the LOA.
Ensure compliance with national security and law enforcement requirements as specified in the LOA.
Coordinate with various departments within the company to gather necessary information and ensure timely submission of required documents to the DOJ.
Monitor and report on the progress of LOA-related activities to senior management.
Address any issues or concerns raised by the DOJ in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain accurate records of all communications and submissions related to the LOA.
Education
Four years of college resulting in a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience
3 to 5 years of work experience in security, auditing, Law Enforcement, or experience in a liaison or compliance role (preferably with a government agency)
Experience working with the DOJ or other federal agencies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
We are looking for a Regional Philanthropy Partner who will meet fundraising goals and objectives and connect with our donors to serve our mission. In this role, you will identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective regional donors in expanding their financial support of the work of the American Red Cross. The incumbent is responsible for managing a large donor territory that extends from Parkersburg and Wheeling, WV to Hagerstown, MD, and Winchester, VA inclusive of all points in between.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD:
Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward current and prospective donors throughout the Ohio River Valley, North Central West Virginia and the eastern panhandle, western Maryland, and northeast Virginia.
Manage an assigned portfolio of approximately 100 corporate, foundation, and individual prospects to form deep relationships and achieve a personal annual revenue target of approximately $500,000.
Work with the local fundraising team to develop and execute ongoing regional strategy for qualifying donors to ensure retention, growth of donor contributions, as well as recapture from previous donors. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and volunteer leaders to create customized solicitation strategies matching the objectives of the organization and the interests of the donor/prospect.
Solicit assigned donor portfolios through face-to-face visits, virtual meetings, and personalized written correspondence.
Prepare grant proposals and engage foundation stakeholders to cultivate and solicit support for the American Red Cross.
Implement engagement strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors at the $5,000 level or higher, with an emphasis on maximizing revenue for the American Red Cross. Develop effective partnerships to assist corporations in achieving their goals in strengthening their brand, marketing, and employee engagement.
Maintain donor records within our database management tool. (Salesforce)
Assist donors in creating meaning in their lives by giving to the American Red Cross.
This position is a blend of work-from-home, in-person meetings with donors, and in-office meetings.
Participate in disaster relief fundraising projects, community engagement, and administrative duties as instructed by supervisor.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
A minimum of five years of fundraising and/or sales experience is required. The combination of the candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to the description's minimum education and general experience years combined .
Proven experience in developing strategies for donor retention, growth, and recapture, and proven success with complex requests is required.
Experience soliciting corporate and/or foundation gifts, including proficiency in grant writing is strongly preferred.
A current valid driver's license and a good driving record is required.
Ability to relate well and work effectively with multiple constituencies and audiences. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Knowledge of office systems: MS Office preferred and fundraising database systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce.com).
Ability to work on a team within a collaborative environment and ensure the highest customer service orientation.
Travel: Frequent travel within the Region is required.

General Description
The Security Monitor position provides a system of accountability and continuous supervision of the site population by monitoring all camera(s) on-site. Reports any outages in the surveillance videos. Reports anything suspicious, anything that violates policies and procedures that may cause harm to someone else and ensures the safety of all children and staff.

Provides Security Monitoring.
Maintains surveillance systems and ensures they are recorded at all times.

Assists during transition and movement of children from one activity to the next and one physicallocation to another depending on the department assigned.

Associates Degree with 8 years' experience or a bachelor's degree with 6 years specifically related work experience in the personnel security field, complemented by formal training such as successful completion of the Industrial Security Management Course. Must have expert level knowledge on the rules and regulations of the NISPOM pertaining to all aspects of Personnel Security. Must have working knowledge of site specific procedures and security requirements. The position requires a high degree of accuracy pertaining to all aspects of Personnel Security. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must be proficient operating personal computers using Microsoft Word, Excel, and graphics software, and possess data base management experience. Familiar with a mainframe computer terminal, laminating machine and professional instamatic camera. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a current state-issued driver's license.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $108,000 annually.
