Essential Job Functions: Executes a tiered, personalized communications plan for donors that maintains a healthy cycle of cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation. Includes completing an introduction series for all portfolio donors and creating and sending timely thank you notes and impact reporting. Maintenance of a tiered caseload of 600-700 Mid-Level donors through regular caseload refreshes. Improves donor and value retention, increases revenue per donor, and cultivates, qualifies, and transitions donors into Major Gifts and Planned Giving. Maintains records of donor engagement in the CRM and provides regular reports to key stakeholders.     Armed Keeneland Security Officers deploy in three (3) shifts, including Weekends & Holidays. During April & October Race Meetings, 12 + hour shift durations are implemented, (only in April & October). Shift hours are subject to change/extend during Race Meetings and Horse Sales. Keeneland Security Officers are “Essential Employees”, and shall expect schedules to change as necessary to support operations as needed. Keeneland Security Officers shall receive adequate resources, proper tools and training (all uniforms & equipment provided), and knowledge-based skills needed to successfully perform job tasks, while taking calculated risks. Keeneland Security Officers patrol and protect Keeneland grounds, and ensure the safety of visitors, patrons and employees. This position is full-time (40/week), and the employee is assigned to permanent shift/hours, i.e., 1 st , 2 nd , or 3 rd shift. Transfers to opposite shifts is granted based upon seniority as a Full Time Keeneland Security Officer, and only when a vacancy exist. Shift schedules are subject to change with minimal notice. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS High school diploma. Keeneland management shall acknowledge equivalent experience and education, or combination thereof. Applicant must submit a resume upon applying. Submissions without an enclosed resume will not be considered. Applicant must possess at least two (2) years of Armed Experience, i.e., Military, Armed Private Security, Law Enforcement, Corrections, etc. Applicants without a minimum of two (2) years Armed Experience will not be considered. If citing prior Military Service, regardless of Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard Service, you must provide a DD-214 Form to Keeneland Association upon request. Any reason for separation from Military Service other than an “Honorable Discharge” will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Armed Security Officers wear a Keeneland issued security uniform, and must be free of facial hair aside from an appropriately groomed mustache. Armed Security Officers shall not have visible tattoos/body art. If visible, security officers shall be willing to cover same, i.e., long sleeves if tattoo is below elbows, etc. Ear piercings, within reason, and upon prior approval, are acceptable. Hairstyles must be neat, groomed, and must not present a safety hazard. Armed Security Officers must be of sound mind and moral character. Armed Security Officers must possess a “clean” driving record and be free of felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude, domestic or workplace violence; or anything that would preclude him/her from possessing/carrying a firearm. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, he/she will undergo, and must successfully complete, a thorough background investigation, which consists of character and workplace reference contact. The applicant must successfully pass a medical screening, to include a drug screening (within 72 hours of conditional employment offer), as Keeneland is a Drug Free Workplace. Upon employment as a Keeneland Security Officer, he/she must satisfactorily complete 40 hours of indoctrination training including, but not limited to, Keeneland policies and procedures, firearm proficiency, use of force, legal parameters and guidelines, conflict de-escalation, evacuation procedures, and assessing/dealing with critical incidents, etc. In addition, he/she is required to complete at least 32 hours of annual in-service/refresher training. Armed Security Officers are issued firearms, and thus required to demonstrate proficiency upon hire (during indoctrination training), as well as multiple times annually. Armed Security Officers must be willing to work any shift during a 24-hour period with minimal advanced notice. During April and October Race Meetings, he/she is required to work extended hours, (overtime is mandatory during April and October Race Meetings). Possess good communication skills (verbal & written). Armed Security Officers must have sound judgement while using discretion in dealings with patrons and employees. Armed Security Officers must demonstrate good customer relation and interaction skills as well as the ability to think on his/her feet. Armed Security Officers must be capable of operating in a multi-task environment as well as have the ability to contribute to a team atmosphere. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: Patrol and inspect buildings and grounds to ensure all is secure, i.e., verifying intrusion alarms are active; building/doors are locked, etc. Ensure, and maintain, safety of visitors, patrons and employees. Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic to maintain orderly flow while reducing congestion. Records data and thoroughly documents traffic collisions, thefts, acts of vandalism, assaults, suspicious activities, as well as any applicable incident or situation. Provide security in barns and stables as needed. Monitor and control internal intrusion alarms, and surveillance camera systems.
