Job Description
Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.
Security Guard - Unarmed Cleared Officer
Starting Base Pay: $23.18 per hour.
Workdays Available: All Workdays Available
Shifts Available: All Shifts Available
Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance status.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
Act as a first responder in emergency situations
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Must possess one or more of the following:
Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
Prior military experience
Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field

Ensure the rules and regulations are followed
Report writing (daily activity, incident, visitor logs, maintenance items, etc.)

Other duties as assigned by management
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Essential Functions
Serve as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)/Security Specialist Senior Principal in support of the Reagan Test Site (RTS) at the US Army Garrison - Kwajalein Atoll (USAG-KA).
Oversee the management of special compartmented information facility (SCIF) and special access program (SAP) to include access control, classified material accountability, preparing/tracking program access requests (PARs), conducting security briefings/debriefings, etc.
Maintain the security functions for special programs in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to include policies, security education, standard operating procedures (SOPs), concept of operations (CONOPs), etc.
Perform the duties of the OPSEC and Resource Protection Manager.
Support company and/or US Government assessments and implement security measures to meet requirements.
Interpret and administer security doctrine, provide clear guidance to company & customer personnel, and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures, as appropriate.

Required Skills

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Flex Security Officers in the Nashville, TN area for all shifts and days. This position offers a pay rate of $17- with weekly pay.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Ensure the security of the area

Checking in visitors, ensure policies are followed, foot patrols, access control
Monitor CCTV cameras and equipment
Other duties as assigned by management
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help protect personnel, property, and information.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and support site operations.
Minimum Requirements:
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
