Specific to the Position Learns to conduct field investigations and inspections and patrol a designated or assigned area of the state by motor vehicle, all-terrain vehicle, boat, or on foot. Foot patrols may require walking long distances over difficult terrain in adverse conditions. Learns to patrol state wildlife management areas to ensure proper use of the area and protect its resources from various types of illegal activity. Learns to apprehend violators and effect physical arrests when appropriate, utilizing approved methods. Learns to conduct at-sea and dockside investigations of commercial fishing vessels to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and catch limitations. *Due to the nature of this role, this position is performed exclusively on-site. The Security Specialist is responsible for performing security and safety functions within a cannabis cultivation facility. As a Security Specialist, you are responsible for providing critical security and administrative support to management.
