Duties During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions. Job Responsibilities Shift assignment(s) are made based on operational needs and subject to change - (see "Work Hours" for hours of operation) The officer would be expected to perform routine security patrols, investigate reported and self-initiated complaints. Investigate and prepare reports on all incidents reported to security (criminal complaints, fire alarms, injuries, accidents and illnesses). Respond to emergency situations, assist with building evacuation and provide aid and assistance where needed. Assist with medical needs and call for/provide transportation to medical resources. Other routine duties include but are not limited to on-campus parking and traffic enforcement and control, enforce college regulations and lock and unlock campus buildings. The officer will also be available to operate all department vehicles which include campus shuttles and provide security escorts to students, faculty and staff upon request.
