Summary:

Be willing to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background report to include fingerprints. Must have a clean criminal history with no convictions or major traffic offenses
Must have experience and knowledge of security operations
Must have experience with basic force protection
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be medically fit and undergo medical testing
Must pass a Physical Ability Test (to include - run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and 21 pushups in two minutes). This is strictly enforced, and exceptions or waivers will not be allowed
Must be willing to undergo random drug testing upon request
Regular working hours are 48 hours per week. Due to the nature of the proposed employment, the employee may work on different schedules on different days of the week as assigned by a supervisor and may also be required to work additional hours beyond scheduled time
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
The candidate must maintain the necessary physical fitness to ensure accomplishment of assigned missions. This includes guard duties under local types of weather and terrain. The candidate must meet all physical and medical requirements as dictated by the U.S. Government client's contract.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on all security-related incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and/or emergency personnel as needed to support the ongoing security-related needs of the location.
Maintain proficiency in the proper use of assigned equipment, including firearms, and adhere to all Allied Universal and client protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification Texas Only is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
