Marketing Statement Supervises Public Safety Officers on an assigned shift for the Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) Public Safety Division (PHAPS); assigns, monitors and evaluates the activities of the housing public safety officers, responsible for crime prevention and enforcing the safety and security conduct rules and regulations set forth by Federal and State statute, as well as PHA policy. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with residents, employees and the general public is essential. Eligible, newly hired Sergeants will receive a $2,500 sign on bonus. Qualifications Education, Training and Experience Guidelines: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AND three or more years' experience in a law enforcement organization, as an Officer, Detective, and/or Corporal; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
