We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Center Manager for First Quality Enterprises, Inc. Preferred location is near Great Neck, NY, but this position can be worked remotely from the eastern half of the US with regular travel to NY.
Primary responsibilities include:
Lead and manage Security Operations CenterPrimarily responsible for security event monitoring, management, and response Ensure incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation, and monitoring Ensure compliance to SLA, process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework, review policies and highlight the challenges in managing SLAsResponsible for team & vendor management, overall use of resources and initiation of corrective action where required for Security Operations CenterManagement, administration & maintenance of security devices under the operations tools Perform threat management, threat modeling, identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring including red\blue penetrations tests Responsible for integration of standard and non-standard logs in SIEMResponsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining security automation and orchestration IR's and tools.Creation of reports, dashboards, metrics for SOC operations and presentation to Sr. Mgmt.Co-ordination with stakeholders, build and maintain positive working relationships with them

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in incident detection and response, malware analysis, or cyber forensics Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field with three (3) years of experience in incident detection and response, malware analysis, or cyber forensics. In lieu of a degree, a combination of education/additional experience will be considered.Minimum of at least 2 years of managing a SOC operations team

Minimum Qualifications
Availability to work 24/7 including weekends and holidays 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related experience Experience operating video surveillance systems Proficiency in multi-tasking multiple programs simultaneously Basic de-escalation skills to provide high-level client service

Job Summary
As a Security Operator, you'll gather information and act on any potential threats to Family of Companies personnel, physical assets, image, reputation, or other stakeholders while driving safety within the Family of Companies (FOC) and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
Gather information from multiple open-source locations, including various media outlets, government agencies and subscription services Create, review and edit various incident management reports to be disseminated to leadership Calmly and effectively handle high-stress situations, such as crisis management incidents and emergency communications Collaborate with Contracted Security and law enforcement partners by assisting with run sheets, badges, radios, briefings, and their initial investigations (such as surveillance findings), manage dispatch console and dispatch accordingly using proper radio etiquette Manage multiple email boxes, compose emails, and properly categorize emails Complete thorough camera surveillance investigations Operate analytical and camera surveillance systems to identify suspicious behavior and activity in or near owned and occupied properties Handle, document, and route escalated calls/surveillance requests/concerns to leadership Familiarity with FOCs 180+ assets and monitor these assets via access control programs including any events that may impact these assets Assistance with commercial and residential tenant requests, such as building/parking/access control concerns Complete open-source background investigations including social media deep dives

As a Principal Incident & Threat Analyst you will analyze incidents and identify and mitigate threats. Senior Associate Analysts collaborate with incident response teams to evaluate Discover's cyber defense posture, processes, and procedures in context to given threats. You ll create meaningful, actionable outputs to improve detection and prevention capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, retain and lead high-functioning, diverse group of engineering professionals, establishing clear objectives and key results, developing consistent set of practices and process across the team and driving towards resolution of challenging problems. This includes all performance management aspects of leading the engineers including acquiring and providing 360 feedback and administering reviews. Manages software ownership and development from initial concept through continuous improvement.
• Mentor staff of engineers in both technical and soft skills to craft a team of highly technically competent, consistent, thoughtful and customer-centric technology experts. This includes ensuring the group is adhering to principles of engineering excellence within their technical domain, applying consistency of technical execution, sharing common practices and challenges within the team and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.
• Lead and shape the technical vision within their domain and be an essential member of leadership team including acting as a leader in the Discover engineering community affecting and advancing the architecture across the company and ensuring adherence to all regulatory, compliance and audit requirements. This includes defining how technical work should be done, selecting appropriate tools, defining technology, quality, experience and implementation standards and practices within own technical domain.
• Work with key stakeholders to efficiently and effectively allocate team members to product teams to meet business and Product area objectives.
• Engage with internal and external communities of practice to share experiences, contribute knowledge, learn and advocate for the Discover Technology brand. Promotes team innovation and collaboration of ideas across teams.
• Contribute as an engineer within a product team designing, developing and maintaining quality technology solutions for a product or set of products including developing own subject matter expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here s what we need from you:

• Bachelors Information Technology
• In Lieu of Education Experience, 6+ years Application Development or related
• 4+ years Application Development or related
