OPOC.us (One Point of Care) is seeking a part time Biometric Screener to work on an as needed basis with our AccelWELL team. We are looking for an experienced, high-energy individual who is client and employee focused and enjoys working in a team environment. You will support our clients onsite at their locations in the greater Columbus area, as well as other parts of the state. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for helping others improve their health and wellness. Qualifications and Requirements
• REQUIRED: One year of experience performing biometric screenings in a healthcare or community setting.
• Proficient in performing fingerstick blood collection, taking blood pressures and other related health screening tasks.
• Basic Tablet and computer skills.
• Ability to accurately capture participant information and screening results.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters and information with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
• Self-motivated; ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining participant privacy at all times.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to use those skills to relay essential information in an effective and understandable way.
• Reliable transportation.
Compensation
This position pays 25.00 per hour, as well as an opportunity for growth for driven individuals.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit to designated areas as required by site protocols.
Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Communicate promptly with site management, Allied Universal supervisors, and local authorities when necessary.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, reporting any security-related concerns or hazards encountered during patrols.
Support the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations to help to deter policy violations and/or criminal activity.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
