As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment by conducting routine patrols throughout a transportation location. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit to designated areas as required by site protocols. Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. Communicate promptly with site management, Allied Universal supervisors, and local authorities when necessary. Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, reporting any security-related concerns or hazards encountered during patrols. Support the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations to help to deter policy violations and/or criminal activity. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
