Job Overview
Zona Facta Collective is currently seeking qualified Armed Security Guards for an ATM Technician Protection contract in the Greater Shreveport, Louisiana area. This position is a W-4 employee role
Guards will be responsible for providing armed protective services while escorting ATM technicians, ensuring technicians are able to perform their duties safely, securely, and without interference. This role requires professionalism, reliability, and strict adherence to company and client protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Escort ATM technicians to and from assigned job sites throughout the Greater Lafayette area
Provide armed protective presence during ATM servicing operations
Maintain situational awareness and proactively mitigate potential security risks
Report for duty on time and remain on standby at the beginning of each scheduled shift
Maintain clear communication through designated company channels
Follow all Zona Facta Collective policies, procedures, and client-specific post orders
Complete accurate timekeeping and required reports as directed by supervision
Position Requirements
Current Louisiana Armed Security License (Required)
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Reliable transportation; regional travel required
Must meet physical and professional standards for armed security duties
Equipment Requirements
Employees are expected to maintain and use approved duty gear, including:
Firearm (pistol) with a minimum of two extra magazines
Duty belt with Level III retention holster
Black body armor
Uniform Standards
Zona Facta Collective black uniform shirt (provided)
OD green tactical pants
No body cameras or tasers authorized
Military or law enforcement background preferred (exceptions may be made for highly qualified candidates)
Must be available to work at least three (3) weekend shifts within each 28-day scheduling cycle

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, dispatching resources, and coordinating with on-site staff and/or local responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, common areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verifying authorization, directing individuals to appropriate areas, and reporting access control concerns per site policy.
Complete required reports and documentation for security-related incidents, policy violations, and shift activities, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information per site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Under general supervision, the police officer will serve as a commissioned law enforcement officer responsible for the protection, safety, and welfare of students, staff, and visitors and for the protection of College property. The duties of this position includes, but are not limited to:
* Exercises independent judgement within the limits prescribed by law, institutional rules and regulations, departmental policies and procedures, and those as directed by the Chief of Police or his designee.
* Provides for the protection, safety, assistance and welfare of students, faculty, staff, visitors, and all within the area under the control and jurisdiction of Wiley College.

* Maintains a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with all members of the Wiley College community and its visitors.
* Provides uniform patrol of the campus and its properties, by vehicle, golf cart, foot patrol, or bicycle.
* Investigates reports of criminal activity, suspicious conditions and circumstances, and writes quality police reports regarding findings and activities.
* Maintains the security of the College property by opening and closing buildings, identifying and taking corrective action on unsafe conditions and hazards in and on College owned properties.
* Responds to various security, door, and environmental alarms.
Qualifications
Possess a high school diploma or GED; never convicted, pled guilty, been on court-ordered community service, or deferred adjudication for a Class B misdemeanor; never been convicted of family or dating violence; never had a dishonorable discharge in the US Military; and firearm qualified or can be qualified.
Must be able to fulfill the duties of a police officer which includes, but not limited to: knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances, as well as law enforcement techniques and procedures; communicates well in speech and in writing; possesses good interpersonal skills; physically able to effect an arrest, subdue resisting individuals; walk and/or run short distances; walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time; must be available to work varying shifts, nights, and weekends; operate and maintain vehicles and equipment; recognize dangerous/hazardous situations; possess the mental acumen for exercising reasonable and sound judgement under stressful circumstances; work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures; work outside and in inclement weather, if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum of 3 years of verifiable civilian law enforcement experience OR an equivalent Law Enforcement position with the United States Armed Forces (military). The experience must include general arrest authority. All three (3) years shall have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
Must have successfully completed or graduated from a certified Federal, state, county, local or military law enforcement training academy or program that provided instruction on the use of police powers in an armed capacity while dealing with the public. The certificate shall be recognized by a Federal, state, county, local or military authority, and provide evidence that an individual is eligible for employment as a law enforcement officer.
Must submit to and successfully complete pre-placement screening and evaluation, which includes submission to a criminal background check, financial institutions/credit bureau check, and disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.
Must be able to pass criminal background screen, drug test and physical exam.
Possess a valid, unrestricted (except eyeglass wear) state driver's license.
Fluently read, speak, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English.
Must be able to meet medical/physical fitness requirements.
Must be free from conviction of any felony.
Be free from conviction of any misdemeanor crime of domestic violence in accordance with United States Code Title 18 U.S.C. ยง 922 (g)(9) Unlawful acts.
