Responds to medical emergencies as needed and acts as a liaison with local police & fire departments. Completes all forms and notified appropriate management as per SOPs and safety procedures. Education Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-year experience in a security position. Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a valid & active NY State Security License. Valid first aid and adult CPR/AED certifications. Must handle multiple tasks simultaneously (i.e. phone, monitor video system, observe employee entry). Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, required. Ability to work independently. Must be flexible to work on multiple shifts and holidays. This position is part of a multi-shift operation and may require assignment to a regular off shift and/or weekends schedule. Ability to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice. Physical Environment and Requirements Must be able to work at an interior post as well as an exterior Guard Booth post. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to sit for extended durations as needed. Must be able to stand for extended durations as needed. Must maintain a professional appearance as this is a uniformed position.
