Qualifications
Air Force Qualification Standards
To qualify for a GS-07: Completion of 1 full year of graduate level education, or bachelor's degree with Superior academic Achievement as provided in the "General Policies and Instructions" for Qualifications Standards Operating Manual, or 5 academic years of pre-professional study, or 1 year specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-5.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
* Knowledge of Department of War (DoW) and Air Force directives relative to security administration.
* Knowledge of the policies, procedures, and methods of the Information, Personnel and Industrial security programs.

* Ability to recognize employee security awareness needs and implement program to acquaint them with their security responsibilities.

Position Overview
As a Security Assistant, you will support the FBI Security Program by managing logs, audits, and analytical tasks. Your role will involve researching complex security issues and contributing to personal security assessments.
Security Assistant (Mid-Level)
Clearance: TS/SCI w/ CI polygraph (full scope)
Responsibilities:
Support the FBI Security Program through administrative and analytical tasks.
Manage security logs and assist with security audits.
Conduct research on complex security issues and contribute to personal security assessments.
Perform routine office administrative support functions.
Critically review and analyze various types of incoming material and investigative reports to discern potential security vulnerabilities and identify viable investigative leads.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (or Associate's with 2 years of relevant experience*)
3 years of experience
Experienced in use of Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and use of Internet to conduct research and/or open-source checks in aid of investigations.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Conducts and interprets database checks and credit reports.
* Performs data entry.
* Provides direct support and service to the administration of the FBI Security Program to include but not limited to logs, audits, analytical analysis, inventory, workflow tracking, maintaining schedules, and presentation briefs.
* Provides support, analysis, and research into complex problems and processes relating to Personal Security.
* Works on complex problems and provides solutions.
* Advises supervisor of potentially controversial matters or those matters with far reaching implications.
* Initiates or performs extensive FBI indices checks, arrest record checks, and similar tasks to obtain pertinent and identifying information for the cases assigned.
* Recommends the need for polygraph examinations and/or interviews based upon analysis of all data available.
* Composes appropriate communications to pertinent FBI HQ Divisions and FOs to initiate same, setting forth any specific guidance which should be followed in regard to same (i.e., particular areas in question which need to be resolved; special qualifications desired of interviewer; etc.). Determinations and resulting communications are subject to review and approval by the Government lead.
* Summarizes all data provided and developed in a formal written analysis of the security concerns and their resolutions, considering information developed.
* Establishes and maintains liaison with other FBI HQ Divisions, DOJ and other agency officials including members of the IC to obtain, develop, and/or resolve queries as required.
* Coordinates or works in concert with other FBI components as required to surface, develop, and resolve various issues encountered.
* Recommends new methods and procedures for passing and affirming clearances including SCI/Regulations, FISs, and/or EO and DOJ Orders.
* Performs security assessment investigations and provides recommendations to the FBI HQ.
* Reviews and analyzes requests for investigations concerning security clearances.
* Prepares a detailed analysis of all information developed, to include potential remedial or precautionary action to meet minimum security standards.
* Assists with briefings and debriefings of individual cases as necessary.
* Maintains electronic and hardcopy logs. Scanning and uploading documentation.
* Updates and audits electronic workflow tracking programs.
* Provides customer service and appointment scheduling.
* Uploads all official documents into the defined system of record, management, workflow, or tracking systems, files, and /or sub - files
Basic Qualifications and Requirements
* Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance
* Associate's Degree
* 1 year of experience
* Experienced in use of Microsoft Office products.

This vital full-time role offers $17.50 per hour. YOUR ROLE AS OUR SECURITY PATROL SPECIALIST:
As an unarmed Security Patrol Specialist, you play a vital role in ensuring safety and professionalism. You conduct fixed and roving patrols across client properties, serving as a first-line ambassador. Your duties include observing, deterring, and reporting incidents while accurately documenting site activities. You enforce client procedures and maintain exceptional customer service, all while being prepared to respond quickly and calmly to critical situations.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
Valid driver's license
High school diploma or GED
18+ years old or the minimum age required by the state
Customer service experience
2+ years of security experience and/or military/LEO
Authorization to legally work in the United States
Great communication and customer service skills
Knowledge to operate the radio, telephone, and console monitors
Effective verbal and written English communication skills
Access to reliable transportation that allows for short-notice response throughout the Atlanta Metro area
Ability to work any shift, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including weekends and holidays
Ability to complete crisis prevention training and site-specific training before serving as a qualified security officer
Ability to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to reach over your head with 10-25 lb loads
Ability to walk up and down stairs, with loads up to 50 lbs
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and use ladders
Ability to stand for long periods of time (8+ hours)
Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to work at a desk and use a keyboard
An associate's degree is preferred but not required!
