The Security Strategy, Risk, and Resilience team is responsible for TikToks Governance, Risk and Compliance function working closely with cross-functional partners to manage security risks to ensure we meet all industry cybersecurity compliance standards and government regulations through developing governing policies, implementing the security control framework, conducting security risk and control assessments, and staying up-to-date on global compliance initiatives. This role is for a strategic and hands-on cybersecurity practitioner who will be a key player in securing TikTok's vendor integrations and technical connections. You'll move beyond procedural reviews to directly validate, monitor, and secure how third parties connect to our platforms and data. Your work will ensure integrations are safe, resilient, and do not expand TikTok's attack surface. As the Third Party Security Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Secure Integration Design: Review, validate, and architect secure technical integrations with third-party vendors, including APIs, network tunnels, and cloud configurations * Continuous Monitoring: Implement and integrate automated monitoring for network logs and configurations * Resilience Validation: Ensure vendor integrations are redundant, recoverable, and aligned with TikTok's business continuity and cybersecurity resilience standards * Risk Mitigation at Scale: Identify and remediate integration risks early in the vendor lifecycle (pre-onboarding, post-onboarding, and during ongoing operations) * Collaboration & Enablement: Work closely with Procurement, Legal, IT, and business units to embed security into the procurement process and ensure secure third-party operations Minimum Qualifications: * Deep technical knowledge of API security, network integrations, cloud configurations, and identity/access management * Strong technical background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and securing cloud-native integrations * Proficiency in conducting technical and procedural security assessments. Under general supervision, this position provides armed security at FMP's headquarters and performs routine security duties to protect individuals, property, and assets across multiple Factory Motor Parts facilities. Schedule: Fixed shifts are 10-12 hours, followed by multiple consecutive days off. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Security Specialist will have expertise in the following areas and will be responsible for reporting and communication as directed by the Security Supervisor: * Provide physical security and customer service at FMP headquarters and events. * Support the investigation team by collecting video footage, documenting incidents, and reporting findings to management. * Investigate security incidents and document all findings in the incident management system. * Perform routine loss prevention audits to detect vulnerabilities, identify potential loss areas, and reinforce company standards. * Perform virtual patrols across all FMP locations by overseeing access control, alarms, and cameras. * Supported ongoing risk assessments by identifying security gaps or patterns of concern through virtual monitoring and data analysis. * Coordinate with external agencies, such as law enforcement and emergency responders. * Enforce and inform employees of security, safety, and fire protection policies. * Remotely verified building lock and unlock status according to scheduled times. * Conducted continuous surveillance to detect and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or potential safety hazards. * Issue employee IDs and manage access permissions for authorized personnel for alarms, cameras, and entry systems. * Professionally handle calls, gather information, and address concerns. * Perform other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally. * Highly organized, self-motivated, and inquisitive; able to take initiative and follow through on investigations. * Exhibited high proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Forms, and security software. * Skilled in operating and monitoring surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and electronic access control systems. * Knowledge of state statutes, traffic regulations, and standard security protocols. * Ability to compose clear, detailed, factual reports for incident documentation. * Ability to work independently and solve problems using deductive reasoning. * Knowledgeable in safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and basic first aid techniques. * Exercises sound judgment, maintains mental alertness, and demonstrates high integrity and reliability. * Trusted to handle and safeguard sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. * Experience investigating and documenting theft, burglary, injuries, accidents, and other incidents. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is primarily performed at the FMP corporate office building and, in certain circumstances, may be done from other locations. Lifting requirements of up to 25 pounds occasionally may be required. Wrist and finger manipulation due to computer work, calculating, compiling, and filing. Equipment used may include, but is not limited to, a computer, a calculator, a telephone, a copy, a scanner, and a fax machine. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in a relevant field is a plus. * At least five years of proven experience in private security, military, or law enforcement roles. * Be available to work weekends, holidays, nights, and additional hours as required. * First Aid/CPR certification (training provided by FMP). * Current MN permit to carry. * Valid Driver's License. * No criminal history. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication. * Capacity to make decisions under pressure and respond to emergencies.
